NFL FREE AGENCY ROUNDUP FEB. 28

The Kansas City Chiefs have landed there New Quarterback Matt Cassel with a trade with the New England Patriots. Matt Cassell played all sixteen games with the Patriots and led the to a 11-5 record tied for the lead in the AFC East. Matt Cassell threw 21 Touchdowns and 11 Interceptions and had a 90.0 Quarterback Rating. This is a big pick up for New Kansas City Chiefs General Manger Scott Pioli because he, gives the Chiefs a staring Quarterback and credibility in the fight for AFC West. There are still some nice veteran free agent players on the free market like Ray Lewis, Marvin Harrison, Curt Warner, Keith Brookings and T.J. Houshmandzadeh who are looking for a big contract and a nice signing bonus. Finally, it seems like some teams are tighten there belts when it comes to spending money because, of the bad economy. There will be a large number of teams who will not participate in free Agency and concentrate all there efforts in the NFL Draft.

NFL FREE AGENCY ROUNDUP FEB. 27

The Redskins sign Albert Hanyesworth to a 7 year deal worth 100 Million Dollars Deal and it could max out to 115 Million Dollars. The deal reached Friday guaranteed a record 41 Million Dollars in guarantees. The first 13 months of the contract Albert will earn 32 Million Dollars. The Redskins also, resigned Deangelo Hall to a 6 year 54 Million Dollar Deal that will make one of the highest paid Cornerbacks in the NFL. The New England Patriots have landed Fred Taylor to bolster there Backfield as a Free Agent signing. The New York Jets have offered The Ravens Outside Linebacker Bart Scott a 5 Year 40 Million Deal. The Deal only needs to be approved by Bart Scott before he, signs with the Jets. The Vikings sign A Two Year deal with Sage Rosenfels so, he can compete with Travis Jackson as Starting Quarterback. The stunner of the day was the Trade of Kellen Winslow Jr. to the Bucs for some undisclosed Draft picks. The Buffalo Bills should have been talking to the Browns about picking up Winslow in a trade. The Chiefs pick up Veteran Patriots Linebacker Mike Varbel in a trade for undisclosed Draft Pick. Mike Varbel is 33 Years Old and he, will bring some much needed leadership to the Chiefs Defense. The Titans re-sign Kerry Collins to a 2 year Deal worth 15 Million Dollars and he, will remain the Starting Quarterback over Vince Young. The next few days will be crucial because we still have Ray Lewis on the market and the Cowboys and several other teams will make Lewis a large contract offer.

BUFFALO BILLS "FREE AGENT" SIGNING PERIOD

The Buffalo Bills should Cut from there roster before July 1 Cris Kelsey, Ryan Denny, Marshawn Lynch and Robert Royal. These cuts will give the Bills enough extra money to go out and sign "Two Solid Free Agents". I would like to see the Bills take a shot at signing "Albert Hanynesworth" of Tennessee Titans. Albert's signing will cost you about 12 Million Dollars a year but, it will shore the middle of the Bills Defensive Line. The tandem of Marcus Stroud And Albert Haynesworth would be the best Tackle combinations in the NFL. The Bills also, can go after a solid linebacker like Bart Scott from the Baltimore Ravens. This would be a good signing of a solid Football Player similar to the signing of Kavakia Mitchell who was the Bills best Linebacker last year. The Bills should also, try and sign Fred Taylor who would be a solid backup to Fred Jackson. This would be one of the best Running Back combinations in the NFL. The Bills Management will have to make some smart decisions during the Free Agent period to take the next step and be competitive in the AFC East. Finally, the Bills are desperate need of leadership on this Football Team. The Bills showed that they had very little leadership when they lost "Eight Out Of There Last Ten Games". The failed leadership on the Bills could not stop the "Bleeding" during there losing streak and the Bills finished the season 7-9 in last place in the AFC East.

FRED TAYLOR VISITING THE BUFFALO BILLS

The Buffalo Bills are finally, sending a strong message to Marshawn Lynch that his "Crazy Ass Behavior" will not be tolerated anymore by Bills Management. Marshawn has not learned a lesson from his last two encounters with law. Marshawn has to be taught a valuable lesson before his career is over before he is 27 years old. The Bills could help salvage his career by cutting Marshawn from there roster and that will send a clear message to Marshawn Lynch that his type of behavior is unacceptable for a NFL Player. This message was sent to a "Future Hall Of Fame Member Cris Carter" who had similar problems with the law as member of Philadelphia Eagles and they cut him from there roster and that message help save his life and his Football career. The Buffalo Bills can go with Fred Jackson as starting Running Back and Fred Taylor as there backup. This will be a strong backfield and there will not be a large drop off in yard production. Fred Taylor will bring some much needed leadership to this football team and some confidence to Trent Edwards. The Buffalo Bills Management and Fans can no longer count on Marshawn Lynch as there starting Running Back anymore so, they might as well cut him loose or trade him for a high draft pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Finally, Fred Taylor will also, be visiting the New England Patriots and it seems like they are the leaders in the clubhouse when it comes to signing him to a new contract.

MICHEAL CRABTREE AND ANDRE SMITH FIRE YOUR AGENT

The "Top Two Prospects" in April NFL Draft are dropping as fast as the Stock Market. Micheal Crabtree of Texas Tech and Andre Smith of Alabama have gotten some of the worst agent representation I have ever seen for players entering the NFL Draft. Micheal Crabtree actually, went to the NFL Draft Combine with a Stress Fracture in his Left Foot and he needs surgical procedure to stabilize the foot. The healing process will take 6 to 10 weeks. Micheal Crabtree will put off the surgery until March after running the 40 yard dash at the NFL combine. Therefore, if Crabtree runs a under a 4.5 in the 40 yard dash he, will still be a "Top Five Draft Pick". If Micheal Crabtree stock drops his fellow receivers Percey Harvin of Florida and Jermey Maclin of Missouri could move up in the draft. The Andre Smith debacle started before the Sugar Bowl when he, was in contact with a agent. This Clown needs to go out and get a agent that will give him some proper guidance. The NFL is holding there combine this weekend and they cannot find Andre Smith. Andre is not participating in any of the workouts drills and his draft status behind Offensive Linemen is dropping in the NFL Draft. Andre Smith is expected to be the Third Offensive Lineman off the board on draft day. Therefore, the way he has been acting there will be teams that will pass on Andre Smith and I expect him to have the biggest Draft Day tumble this year. Finally, these "Two Young Men" will have to take control of there own lives because every mistake they make millions of dollars go down the drain.

There will be players like "Matthew Stafford" who will not workout at the combine so, the "Top Ten" is subject to "CHANGE" all the way up to the day of the draft. If you noticed that Stafford is not in my Top Ten.

MARSHAWN LYNCH ARRESTED ON "GUN CHARGE"

The Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch is in trouble again with the law. Marshawn Lynch was arrested in Culver City, California on felony possession of a concealed firearm. The Culver City Police Department released a statement with details of the arrest. Three men were in a 2006 Mercedes and one of the men was recognized as Marshawn Lynch the Bills starting Running Back. The police officers field investigation lead to the discovery of the loaded weapon. The police officers made the determination that the weapon belonged to Marshawn Lynch. Lynch, lawyer M. Gerald Schawrtzbach said that his client Marshawn was not involved in the incident and that he, was in California visiting friends. The Los Angles Sheriff Department inmate database has Lynch being booked at 7:12 p.m. and released on 35,000 bail at 8:45 p.m. NFL Spokesman Greg Aiello said, that they are monitoring the charges against Marshawn Lynch. The Bills confirm that Marshawn has been arrested and they are trying to gather all the information they can about the incident, Bills President Of Communication Scott Bercthold. Marshwan Lynch was involved last summer in a hit-run accident in downtown Buffalo were he paid a fine 0f $100 and did not face any criminal charges as part of his plea agreement. This clown is facing the same charges that Plaxico Buresss is facing in New York City. The Buffalo Bills management should make a statement and cut Marshawn Lynch from there roster tomorrow. This clown "Lynch" is always in trouble with the law. The Buffalo Bills can win football games with Fred Jackson as there starting running back. The Buffalo Bills went 7-9 with Marshawn Lynch they can go 7-9 without Marshawn Lynch as the Bills starting running Back.
