BUFFALO BILLS-NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS PREVIEW
The Buffalo Bills will have a tough task this Sunday when they face the New England Patriots in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The Patriots are peaking at the right time and they are facing a Bills Football Team that is struggling to score points and hold on to the Football. The Patriots are led by there new starting Quarterback Matt Cassel and he, has been playing extremely, well this season after a slow start. Cassel has been filling in for the injured Tom Brady and he has led the Patriots into a first place tie in the rugged AFC East. The Patriots Offense seems to be the same Offense they used when Tom Brady was a first year quarterback filling in for the injured Drew Bledsoe. The Patriots love to through a large number of short passes to Wes Welker and Screen Passes to Kevin Faulk. The Patriots have a secret weapon and I am not talking about Randy Moss. Ben Watson is one of the best Tight Ends in the NFL when it comes to strecthing the field for the Patriots Passing Game Offense. Matt Cassel has become, more efficient quarterback ever since, Watson came back from injury. The Patriots use the short passing game to set up the deep pass to Randy Moss and that is usually, the death to most defenses across the NFL. The Bills Defense will have to play there best game of the year to win this important game on the road. The Bills have lost the last 14 out 15 games to the Patriots and it seems like this streak will be even longer after this Sunday Game. The Bills are going to have a tough time stopping the Patriots because, of the key injuries they have on there Defense. The Bills will be missing Aaron Schobel and possibly Donte Whitner for this Sunday game. The Bills have lacked a pass rush ever since, Schobel when out with a serious foot injury. The Bills have been picked apart by the last four quarterbacks completing about 70% of there passes against the Bills Defense. I would love to tell Bills fans that the Bills will shut down the Patriots without Tom Brady but, I think the way this defense is playing right now the Patriots Offense will have a big day. The Bills Offense is having some serious problems running the Football. The Bills ran for 30 yards against the New York Jets Defense that looked like the Bears 46 Defense "I am just joking". The Bills have spent almost 100 million dollars on there Offensive Line and they are the worst run blocking Offensive Line in the NFL. Trent Edwards is under some serious pressure because, he, does not have a running game to help out his passing game. In the last four games the Defenses that the Bills have faced have found some serious problems in the Buffalo Bills Offensive Line scheme and they are blitzing Trent Edwards from different angles. The Bills will have to run the ball for at least 125 yards to win this game against the Patriots. The Patriots have on of the smartest defenses in the NFL and you know that "Coach Hoddy" will have some new defensive packages for Trent Edwards and the Bills Offensive. The way the Bills Offensive Line is playing right now I truly, believe that Seymour, Wolfork and Warren will eat the Bills Offensive Line for Dinner. Finally, I think that it will be a long Sunday for the Buffalo Bills and by 4p.m. the Bills will be technically, in last place in the AFC East at 5-4. The Patriots will defeat the Bills 31-13 in a mid-season rout.
