NFL FREE AGENCY ROUNDUP FEB. 27

The Redskins sign Albert Hanyesworth to a 7 year deal worth 100 Million Dollars Deal and it could max out to 115 Million Dollars. The deal reached Friday guaranteed a record 41 Million Dollars in guarantees. The first 13 months of the contract Albert will earn 32 Million Dollars. The Redskins also, resigned Deangelo Hall to a 6 year 54 Million Dollar Deal that will make one of the highest paid Cornerbacks in the NFL. The New England Patriots have landed Fred Taylor to bolster there Backfield as a Free Agent signing. The New York Jets have offered The Ravens Outside Linebacker Bart Scott a 5 Year 40 Million Deal. The Deal only needs to be approved by Bart Scott before he, signs with the Jets. The Vikings sign A Two Year deal with Sage Rosenfels so, he can compete with Travis Jackson as Starting Quarterback. The stunner of the day was the Trade of Kellen Winslow Jr. to the Bucs for some undisclosed Draft picks. The Buffalo Bills should have been talking to the Browns about picking up Winslow in a trade. The Chiefs pick up Veteran Patriots Linebacker Mike Varbel in a trade for undisclosed Draft Pick. Mike Varbel is 33 Years Old and he, will bring some much needed leadership to the Chiefs Defense. The Titans re-sign Kerry Collins to a 2 year Deal worth 15 Million Dollars and he, will remain the Starting Quarterback over Vince Young. The next few days will be crucial because we still have Ray Lewis on the market and the Cowboys and several other teams will make Lewis a large contract offer.
