Floyd Mayweather Slams Manny Pacquiao In A Profane, Racist UStream Video Rant

Floyd Mayweather chose Internet video as his venue for discussing a fight with Manny Pacquiao, and a series of profane and racist comments as his method.

The Grand Rapids boxing star, in his first public statements about Pacquiao since the second failed attempt to make a fight between them, again hinted that the Filipino star uses performance-enhancing drugs in a video released Thursday on UStream video.

The core message apparently hasn’t changed much, even if the self-produced manner of delivering it has.

Mayweather said he planned to take about a year off -- timed perfectly with a fight against Pacquiao next May -- and that he would return to face his rival in a showdown for pound-for-pound supremacy.

The style will be remembered far more than the substance, though.

Mayweather said he would return to “cook that little yellow chump,” Pacquiao.

After “I stomp the midget,” Mayweather said he would “make me a sushi roll and cook me some rice.”

Mayweather said he “don’t have the urge to get up” and fight again.

“But when I do got the urge to get up, believe me my UStream and my Twitter fans will be the first to know, and when we do come back, we will kick (Pacquiao’s) (expletive).”

Mayweather repeatedly pronounced Pacquiao’s name as “Poochiao” during the course of the video, which lasted about 10 minutes.

Mayweather, the undefeated former five-division champion, actually provided more specifics about his boxing plans than he has at any time since defeating Shane Mosley on May 1.

He suggested the Pacquiao has agreed to terms on drug testing, which Pacquiao also said this week.

And the one-year “vacation” would fit both fighters time frames, with Pacquiao scheduled to fight Nov. 13 against Antonio Margarito.

However, Mayweather also has suggested a variety of other possibilities for his boxing future over the last four months: that he might not fight for two more years; that he might sign with promoter Don King, who has wooed him publicly; and that he might fight very soon, in Dubai, as he told journalist-to-the-stars Robin Leach during a chance meeting at the Del Mar racetrack in California.

Mayweather timed release of the video as Pacquiao and Margarito are engaging a three-city promotional tour.

Mayweather and Pacquiao engaged serious talks last December and January before a proposed March 13 fight fell apart, leading Pacquiao to defeat Joshua Clottey instead, and Mayweather to defeat.  Another proposal, for November, died when Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, sent messages through HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg, to no interest or response from the Mayweather camp. So Pacquiao will fight Margarito instead.

Mayweather’s demands for random blood and urine testing, above that required by boxing commissions, gained international notice and produced debate.

Still, Mayweather did not back away from suggestions that Pacquiao uses, or has used, performance-enhancing drugs, at one point singing that he will “fight the Pacman when he gets off the power pellets.
