BUFFALO BILLS SECOND ROUND DRAFT ANDY LEVITRE

The Buffalo Bills select Andy Levitre 6'2 305 lbs. from Oregon State in the Second Round of the 2009 NFL DRAFT by trading up into the second round. Andy was a strong pulling Guard for the Oregon State Beavers leading there strong rushing attack which was seen during there upset of the USC Trojans in the 2008 College Football Season. There leading Freshman Running Back Gained almost Two Hundred yards versus the Trojans highly rated Defense and Andy Levitre was the main reason for the historical upset of the Trojans. Andy will fit nicely with there First Round Draft Pick Eric Wood because, Bills a re-building there Offensive Line after losing Jason Peters in a trade to the Philadelphia Eagles. This could be the future Bills Offensive Line for the next decade. Finally, it seems like the Bills are making the right moves by building up there Offensive and Defensive Lines which truly decides Football Games in the NFL.

The Buffalo Bills select Jarius Byrd out of Oregon with the 42th Draft pick in the Second Round in the 2009 NFL DRAFT. Jarius was All-Pac Ten Cornerback for the last two seasons and he, also lead the Pac-Ten Conference in interceptions over the last two seasons with 17 interceptions. Jarius has strong man to man skills and will be a excellent nickle and dime conerback for the Buffalo Bills in the upcoming 2009 football season. Jaruius Byrd is a true ball hawk and he, will get some much needed turnovers for the Bills average defense. The Bills drafted Jarius in the second round because they need Cornerbacks to match up with New England Patriots explosive offense lead by Tom Brady. The Conerback position was a glaring need after losing Jabari Greer to the New Orleans Saints.

The Buffalo Bills select Eric Wood 6'3 310 lbs. out of Louisville with the 29th Draft Pick in the First Round of 2009 NFL DRAFT. The Bills needed a starting center to lead a struggling Offensive Line that could not get a yard on third down and one several times last season. Eric Wood is one of the most intelligent Offensive lineman in the NFL Draft and he, is also the Remington Award winner for being the best center in College Football last year. The Bills Offensive Line Starters will be Eric Wood, Curt Chambers, Langston Walker, Brad Butler and Free Agent pick up from the Carolina Panthers Geoff Hangartner. This could be the Bills best draft pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Eric Wood will be a instant impact player for the Buffalo Bills because he, will be protecting the franchise Quarterback Trent Edwards.

BUFFALO BILLS FIRST ROUND DRAFT PICK AARON MAYBIN

The Buffalo Bills select Aaron Maybin of Penn State 6' 4 249 lbs. in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft because, they needed help with at the outside Linebacker position rushing the passer. The Buffalo Bills will took advantage of a deep draft and filled the most important need on defense. The Bills needed to fill out there defense because they were in the bottom third in the league when it came to getting sacks on the Quarterback. Aaron Maybin speed as a pass rusher will help the Bills defense create much needed turnovers. Aaron Maybin will be reunited with Bills starting Middle Linebacker Paul Polsnkzy who also, went to Penn State University. The Bills now have a combo Outside Linebacker that can play all three downs on Defense.

BUFFALO BILLS TRADE JASON PETERS TO EAGLES

The Buffalo Bills have traded there two-time Pro Bowl Offensive Tackle to the Philadelphia Eagles for the Eagles first round draft pick the 28th overall pick and fourth round draft pick and a undisclosed draft pick in the 2010 NFL DRAFT. The Buffalo Bills had problems signing Jason Peters because he, wanted to become one of the highest paid salary players at his position with a average salary of 11 million dollars similar money to the top offensive linemen in the NFL. Jason Peters has been asked to fly to Philadelphia on Friday to meet with the Eagles who have 12 draft choices including two first round draft picks. The trade is contingent on Peters passing a physical and agreeing to contract extension. The Eagles would like to have a contract extension in place before the trade is completed. The Eagles might not be able to announce the trade until late Sunday evening. Peters is scheduled to make 3.3 million dollars this coming season. Last year Peters held out of training camp but did not receive a new contract extension. Peters is signed through the 2010 season and then he can become a free agent. The Bills drafted Peters as a Tight End and turned him into a Offensive Tackle and he ended up starting 10 games by the end of his second season. Buffalo eventually turned him into one of the best Offensive lineman in the NFL.

DONTE WHITNER ARRESTED IN CLEVELAND

Donte Whinter of the Buffalo Bills was arrested last night in Cleveland Ohio at the House Of Blues. The police had to break up a near riot at the House Of Blues. Donte Whitner was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Whitner was released from his holding cell Saturday afternoon. Police Lt. Thomas Stacho said charges have not been filed . Whitner a Cleveland native was attending a birthday party for his Glenville High School teammate Ted Ginn Jr. a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins. The statement by the Cleveland Police Department says the brawl broke out at 3.a.m. As off duty officers tried to restore order and they told Whitner aggressively forced his way into the area where he, was told not to go. Officers temporally restrained him before he broke free and squared off for a fight. The Cleveland Police had to teaser Whitner to get him under control. This is not the first time Whitner 23 has been in trouble with the law. In 2006 Whitner was arrested in suburban Buffalo for non-criminal harassment of his live in girlfriend in 2006. The Bills seem to have a serious problem with there young players like Marshawn Lynch who has been suspended for three games because of a gun possession charge in Culver City, California. The Bills other starting safety Ko Simpson was also arrested in South Carolina for disorderly conduct New Year 's day in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Finally, the Bills will have to check out there vetting process when it comes to drafting new NFL players because the Bills are starting to become the new Cincinnati Bengals.

MARSHAWN LYNCH "GET THREE GAME SUSPENSION"

The NFL will announce a three game suspension of Marshawn Lynch on Thursday mourning. the league is suspending Marshwan Lynch because of a guilty plea in for gun possession in early March. Marshawn met with Commissioner Roger Goodell on March 17 to discuss a series of off-field incidents that have drawn scrutiny of the league. Marshawn told reporters in Buffalo the next day that the Commissioner would not tolerate his off field actions while, a member of the NFL. Marshawn was arrested on gun possession charges in Culver City, California on February 11, 2009 and he, also plead guilty for misdemeanor for hitting a pedestrian in downtown Buffalo and leaving the scene of a crime. Marshawn and the Buffalo Bills management were prepared for a suspension but they did not know the length of the suspension. Marshwan Lynch rushed for 2,152 yards over the last two seasons and he played in the Pro Bowl last season.
