The Buffalo Bills have higher standards than VH-1.
Despite abysmal ratings, the cable network renewed "The T.O. Show" for a second season in 2010.
The Bills weren't so inspired. Their reality show simply wasn't compelling enough to bring Owens back. A whirlwind affair is over after one year.
Saturday night the Bills publicly disassociated themselves with Owens, receiver Josh Reed and defensive end Ryan Denney. In a news release, Bills general manager Buddy Nix said the team would not offer them contracts and allow them to become unrestricted free agents Friday.
You won't find any outrage in Buffalo that Owens won't be wearing a Bills uniform this year. Bills fans didn't come to loathe him at all, but somehow a polarizing figure came to town and engendered shoulder shrugs and vague feelings of meh.
Before it reached that level of apathy, the one-year relationship was a marketing success.
Owens and the Bills used each other. They were a perfect fit, a team desperate to capture their disenfranchised fans' imaginations and a character in need of an image makeover.
Owens came to Buffalo because it was the only place that would take him, and he knew he needed to seize the opportunity to cleanse himself, to show the rest of the NFL he could be in a locker room without detonating its chemistry.
He's a future Hall of Famer who should've generated more attention than he did when the Dallas Cowboys cut him. Perhaps that was a wake-up call. He couldn't afford to depart Buffalo with another quarterback controversy similar to the ones he left behind in San Francisco, Philadelphia and Dallas.
His mission: Show up, play football, be a good soldier and hope the football community notices he served his time with good behavior.
The Bills, meanwhile, needed something -- anything -- to stimulate their followers. The fans were disgusted with how 2008 ended. They started the season 5-1, then collapsed, failing to reach the playoffs a ninth straight season. Head coach Dick Jauron not only was retained, but the club insulted anyone paying attention by refusing to acknowledge what was known, that they'd given him a contract extension before the implosion.
So intense was the furor in Buffalo that some wondered if Bills owner Ralph Wilson would get booed during his induction speech at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Owens was identified as the solution. He sold tickets. He sold jerseys. The mere fact the Bills would make such an organizationally deviant acquisition put fans in a euphoric state.
Owens arrived with the type of fanfare Buffalo will look back upon with at least a little embarrassment.
There was a lot of fanfare for Owens in Buffalo, including a key to the city presentation. He touched down at Buffalo Niagara International Airport to find cheerleaders, chanters and other assorted zealots certain he was the savior. One fan dressed up as a popcorn box, a reference to his showstopper promise to "Get your popcorn ready."
The moment was staged for his VH-1 show, but the feelings expressed were genuine. Bills fans were smitten, drunk in love with a personality who might make their team relevant again. The next day, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown presented him with a key to the city, an honor Wilson has never received.
Pageantry pretty much was all Owens brought to Buffalo, and the front office acted as though that's what it was most interested in anyway.
Whatever daring the Bills showed in signing Owens was offset by their inept evaluation of personnel. They traded Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters, fired offensive coordinator Turk Schonert 10 days before the regular-season opener and released right tackle Langston Walker and running back Dominic Rhodes.
After the season began, they scrapped the no-huddle offense they'd spent the entire offseason installing, fired Jauron and revoked Trent Edwards' job as starting quarterback.
Not even counting the new Bills regime, Owens played under two head coaches and two offensive coordinators and with three starting quarterbacks -- in the span of nine months.
The Bills sold out every home game with his help. And while Owens showed flashes with little teammate support, he rarely made enough of an impact on the field.
He posted his lowest receptions-per-game average since his rookie campaign with San Francisco in 1996. He finished with 55 catches for 829 yards and five touchdowns.
The theory was that if Owens didn't have a big year, his presence would allow underrated receiver Lee Evans to excel on the other side of the field. Evans had 44 catches for 612 yards (both career-lows) and seven touchdowns. Evans' career average entering last season was 6.4 touchdowns.
In Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints, Owens' receptions streak ended at 185 games. It seemed like an appropriate time for Owens to lash out against the Bills, new offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt or Edwards, who'd become known locally as Captain Checkdown.
But Owens admirably held himself together and set a media tone for the rest of the season. He was disappointingly uninteresting, but he kept his nose clean. He was adamant about remaining as bland and politically correct as possible. It was part of his cleansing, after all.
Owens' employment options will be limited. He'll turn 37 before the next season is over.
But the way he carried himself in Buffalo and the excuses he'll have at the ready -- thanks to Buffalo's dysfunction and hindrances outside his control such as a slew of injuries on the offensive line -- might give him more possibilities if he's willing to play for a discount.
From the Bills' standpoint, they extracted all they could from Owens' aura. Besides, they cleared the way for younger receivers.
James Hardy, a second-round draft choice in 2008, has only three receptions. He missed almost all of last season while coming back from a knee injury, but he's ready to go. The Bills think highly of Steve Johnson, a seventh-round pick who has been lost in the shuffle.
For Owens, it's time to move on.
The Bills got what they wanted. So did he.
The only ones left unfulfilled were the fans, their excitement turned to yawns.

Buffalo Bills "Choke" Against The Jaguars, The Bills Have No Character
The Buffalo Bills lose Jacksonville Jaguars 18-15 in the last minute of the football game in Jacksonville Florida. The Bills controlled the football game for almost four quarters but, they showed again in the fourth quarter that they are truly a "Bad Football" team by being shut out again on offense from scoring in the third straight fourth quarter. The Bills have no character in the fourth quarter that is why they collapse every Sunday under any type of pressure put on them by the opposing football team. Therefore, when the score was 15-10 in the fourth quarter you knew as a Bills fan that the Jaguars would eventually drive down the football field and score the winning touchdown. This is why former Head coach Dick Jauron was fired because we as Bills fans have seen this same "Song and Dance" at least 10 times during Jauron's tenure. This time Interim-Head Coach Perry Fewell was the victim of another Bills "Choke" job. The Bills need a veteran coaching staff to come into Buffalo and teach this football team some mental and physical toughness that is needed to make the Bills a winning football in the NFL. When Bill Parcells hired Head Coach Tony Saprano surrounded himself with veteran coaching staff which included Dan Henning Offensive Coordinator and Paul. P former Syracuse Orangemen Head Coach as Defensive Coordinator. This coaching staff has taught the young Dolphins football team how to win football games and they also, gave the Dolphins a identity as a running football team by implementing the "Wildcat Offense" which expands the talent of Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. The Dolphins will come into Ralph Wilson Stadium and prove to Bills fans again what good coaching can do when you have average talent and great play calling. Finally, the Bills need to hire the best coach and staff available to compete in the near future in the AFC East. Ralph spend the money you are 91 years old.

Buffalo Bills @ Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Preview Week 11
The fire Head Coach Dick Jauron and make Perry Fewell Interim-Head Coach. The Bills organization turned this season into a joke. Bud Adams gave Bills players and fans the finger, we have been giving Jauron and Bills organization the finger all year. The Buffalo Bills are falling apart. Too many injuries and a lot of youth will do that. Nevertheless., the best thing the Bills did all season is cut-ties with Coach Dick Jauron on Tuesday. Jacksonville, has a way of taking one step forward, the two steps backward and must reverse that trend here. This should be a opportunity for them to pick up essential ground, while other AFC Wildcard hopefuls face more stern challenges. Sticking with the running game should be enough to get the job done against the hapless Bills. The Bills inexperience shines through the longer the game goes on. The Bills will be starting Ryan Fitzpatrick as quarterback and that will guarantee the Jaguars a victory against the Bills. Ryan is the worst quarterback in the NFL and the Bills will not score more than ten points. Maurice Jones-Drew should rush for more than 150 yards against the worst rush defense in the NFL. Jaguars 31 Bills 7

Buffalo Bills @ Tennessee Titans Week 10 Preview
All Vince Young does is win football games, Young is now 20-11 as a starter, and you have to wonder where this Titans team would be if they had gone with him early in the season. Young's are strength and scrambling ability really opens up things for Chris Johnson. It is no coincidence that Chris Johnson has his three best rushing performances with Young under center. He will rush for at least 150 yards against the Bills defense, the Bills are dead last against the run. The Titans will never have a explosive offense with Young under center. In Fact, if the Bills can control Chris Johnson on early downs, there outstanding and opportunistic secondary could force Young into some errors in third-and-long situations. The problem, However, will be getting the Titans out of third-and-short. All Trent Edwards does is throw Check down passes. Edwards, will be back, but it may not be a major upgrade from backup quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Edwards actually can get the football downfield, but he is scarred to take a shot. Like always Edwards will resort to dumping the football off to Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson. This will really bog down the Bills offense and make it difficult for the Bills to run the football. The Titans have surrendered 105 yards rushing in three of the last four games, but without the threat of the long ball, they should be able to stuff Lynch and Jackson in the backfield. The Titans are on a roll and I feel there are recapturing there winning spirit from last year win they went 13-3. Finally. I hate saying that you should ride Vince Young and Titans but they are a talented team that fell into a slump. The Titans should not have any problem beating the hapless Buffalo Bills at home. Titans 24 Bills 10

Buffalo Bills Next Quarterback Michael Vick
The former Head Coach of the Indianapolis Colts Tony Dungy made some news last night during NBC Sunday Night NFL Show when he, mentioned that there were in preliminary talks with the Buffalo Bills last summer to bring in Michael Vick as a quarterback. Coach Dungy said, "that the Buffalo Bills would be the perfect team for Michael Vick". I would expect that comment from Coach Dungy because, he knows that the Buffalo Bills probably have one of the worst quarterback situations in the NFL. The Bills should have brought in Michael Vick knowing that Trent Edwards has a history of being injured ever since, his days at Stanford University. Trent Edwards has been injured three times in the last 20 games and the Bills should have signed a quality backup quarterback like Michael Vick who could actually win football games for the Buffalo Bills. Michael Vick would have been the perfect quarterback for the Bills because of there inexperienced offensive line. Michael Vick could have helped out this struggling offensive line because of his superior athletic ability. Michael Vick ability to make plays running the football could have helped out the Bills pathetic offense. The combination of Michael Vick with weapons like Lee Evans, Terrell Owens, Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch could have made the Bills offense on of the best in the AFC. The Bills owner Ralph Wilson probably did not want bring in Michael Vick because he, had already signed controversial Wide Receiver Terrell Owens and it would have turned Bills training camp into a complete circus. Ralph Wilson also, did not want any backlash from fans after selling 55,000 season tickets and all positive press the Bills received from the local media from signing Terrell Owens. Therefore, with Michael Vick spending one year in Philadelphia Eagles and getting positive press from the media for being a good teammate even though he, is not playing a pivotal role on the Eagles football team. Michael Vick image rehabilitation is very important because it will be much easier for Bills fans to accept him as there new starting quarterback. The Buffalo Bills management are in a desperate situation because the Bills have not made the playoffs in the last ten years and that is one of the longest slumps in the NFL. The Bills could trade for Michael Vick and draft a quarterback for the future in the next draft. "Bring Vick to Buffalo".

Buffalo Bills Quarterback Dilemma
The Buffalo Bills offense could be the worst in the long 50 year history. This offense is so, bad that your are surprised as fan when they score a touchdown. The Bills have only two rushing touchdown in the last 16 games and the last one was scored by Terrell Owens on a reverse against the Texans. The Bills offense under the tenure of Head Coach Dick Jauron it is worse than pathetic it is down right dreadful. The Bills could not score a touchdown against the hapless Cleveland Browns at Ralph Wilson Stadium. If the Bills had a mediocre offense the Bills would be at least 4-4 or 5-3 and in the race for the playoffs. There is no reason why Bills are on of the worst scoring offenses in the NFL when you have skill position players like Lee Evans, Terrell Owens, Josh Reed, Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch. However, there is one glaring weakness on the Buffalo Bills they don't have a NFL starting quarterback that can get these skill position players the football so they can make plays. The Bills are in a similar position that the Minnesota Vikings were in last year with Tarvisus Jackson who could not get the football to there play makers. This year with the addition of Brett Farve and Percy Harvin the Vikings offense has exploded and has made Adrian Peterson job a lot more easier. The key to the Bills is that they need a quarterback if they plan on competing in the AFC East for the next five years. Trent Edwards has not proven that he is a NFL starting quarterback because he is always injured during crucial points of the season. The first rule of a NFL starting quarterback you must be on the field and Trent has been injured three time in the last year. Trent Edwards does not have the natural football instincts to be a starting NFL quarterback because he, does not see the open receivers before they break open. This is the difference between Trent Edwards and Tom Brady he, has those natural football instincts that tell him the the receiver will break open for the reception. The Bills have been searching for a quarterback ever since Jim Kelly retired and they have come up with a bunch of "Scrubs" to fill this important position on the football team. The Bills will not return to the playoffs until they can find a mediocre quarterback like "Doug Flutie" that can at least win ten football games. Finally, the Bills have a quarterback dilemma and I don't know how they are going to solve the most difficult problem that this organization has faced in the last ten years.

Buffal Bills Blitz NFL Picks Week 8
Buffalo Bills Blitz week 8 Stone Cold Lock Picks. The first pick New York Giants (+1) over Philadelphia Eagles. I personally think that Eli Manning bounce back after back-to-back losses. Unlike the two meeting last year at Giants Stadium which New York lost to Philadelphia, Manning will have talented receivers to work with. Steve Smith is among the leaders in yardage, Hakeem Nicks role in the offense is growing every week. The only problem is the drop happy Mario Manningham, who can't run a route to save his life. The Eagles scored 27 points against the Redskins on Monday Night, but they were far from impressive. Thirteen of those points came off turnovers, 14 points were scored via long Desean Jackson gains. Take away both Jackson Touchdowns the Eagles offense has 38 total yards. The key to the game may be the return of Kreem Mckenzie will probably be back in the line-up, so New York rushing attack should be more effective this Sunday. The are ranked 4th against the run but, the Giants have shown over the years that they can move the chains via the ground game on anyone. The difference last Sunday Night against Cardinals was McKenzie absence. Giants 24 Eagles 20. Buffalo Bills Blitz second pick. New York Jets(-3) over Miami Dolphins. The Jets are rated 17th versus the rush, and the lost there Pro Bowl Nose Tackle Kris Jenkins a week ago. his absence will be huge here, as Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams should be able to rip off massive yardage, setting up easy conversions for Chad Henne, who has played well thus the fourth quarter against the Saints. The will be Henne first start in a hostile environment against the Jets on the road. The Jets have rushed for 300 plus- yards for the second week in a row on Sunday. the Jets has on of the elite ground attacks in the NFL. Leon Washington is done for the year, but Shonne Greene has shown that he is capable of being a very good replacement. There are three good reason why the Jets will win this football game. Will Allen the Dolphins starting Conerback is out for the year. Second the Jets best wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery will be back in the line-up. Finally, The weather report says, that it will be 60 degrees and sunny. There is no way the Dolphins can recover from that fourth quarter debacle against the Saints. Jets 24 Dolphins 17. The San Diego Chargers (-16) Oakland Radiers. As, JaMarcus Russell goes, the Raiders go. In the three game Russell did not pay like a crack fiend, Oakland is 2-1 with the sole loss coming on Monday Night against the Chargers. In the other four games, Russel is a combined 38 for 78 for 350 yards, zero touchdowns, six interceptions and four fumbles lost. The Raiders, of course are 0-4 in those contests ans were out scored 134-16. The Chargers however, cannot run the football very well, outside of one long gain against the chiefs the Chargers struggled against 29th -ranked ground defense. Philip rivers was able to slaughter the chiefs through the air, but that will not happen on Sunday. Oakland's secondary is pretty solid, as Nnamdi Asomugha will erase Vincent Jackson. Meanwhile, the Chargers horrific offense line will not be able to block the Raiders pass rush. This maybe far fetched if you are a Chargers fan, just ask any "Eagles Backer" about this. Beating the Raiders Via the pass is not something you want to do. I can't recommend laying more than a unit on the Raiders. Russel is just that bad. He might be motivated after being benched, but hearing him say the aforementioned quote after the Jets game, I swear he was high. He just looked so out of it. He might be morbidly stupid, but I seriously think he was on drugs. The charges must win this game there next three opponents are the Giants, Eagles and Broncos. Chargers 31 Raiders 13

Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans Preview
The Houston Texans have a chance to make the playoffs for the first time in their history. They have a opportunity to improve to 5-3 with a victory against Buffalo this Sunday. A win this weekend would be important for the Texans, as they will have a tough road game against the Colts the following week before their bye week. After losing three games in a row, the Bills have one two road games in a row over the Jets and Panthers. Buffalo has a chance to reach 500. before there bye week if they can defeat the Texans. The key to the Texans sucess has been there passing game. Matt Schaub is leading the NFL in passing yards with 2,074 and passing touchdown with 16. Wide Receiver Andre Johnson is leading the league with 634 passing yards. Steve Slaton there running back had a excellent rookie season but, he is only averaging 50 yards a game this season and he is yet to get 100 yards rushing this season. Not, only is Slaton not racking up the yards, he has fumled six times losing four of them. Buffalo Bills offense has not been up to par. Terrell Owens was suppose to enhance the Bills offfense, but he has 18 catches for 242 yards and one touchdown. Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch have been solid in the Backfield. But Trent Edwards has struggled. He has thrown 5 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Edwards was knocked out of the game against the Jets after suffering a concussion and was replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick who started against the Panthers on Sunday. Fitzpatrick will start this Sunday against the Texans. The Bills are the worst rushing defense in the NFL giving up 172 yards a game. But there pass defense is not bad at all. the Bills are allowing 190 yards a game passing and they are tied with the most interceptions in the league with 13. And that is without there starting Cornerback Ledios McKelvin, who is out for the season with a fracture fibula. The bills have scored 36 points in there last two wins, but they were able to do so because of the interceptions. It is unlikely that Schaub will throw that many interceptions. He has thrown five interceptions this season. In the three games before the last two, the Bills scored 20 points in three games. The Bills wins are over the Bucs, Jets and Panthers. the Jets were struggling with there passing game when they faced the Bills and the other two teams are two of the worst teams in the league. In there last two home games the Bills have score a combined 10 points in two games. The Texans are averaging 28 points a game on the road. The Texans are 5-2 in there last seven road games. Finally, the records of these two teams are deceiving. With the Texan only one game ahead of the Bills. Therefore, it looks like it could easily be a home victory for the Bills. But the Texans have defeated two legitimate football teams Bengals and 49ers. The Bills have a good pass defense and they will limit Schaub a little. the Texans have played much better than Buffalo this year. The Texans play the Colts next week and they need to win this game. The Bills have been awful at home and are not a good enough team to win three games in a row. Take the Texans (-3.5). The Texans 31 Bills 17.

Buffalo Bills Safety Jarius Byrd "A Star Is Born"
The Buffalo Bills new starting Free Safety Jarius Byrd is breath of fresh air in the Bills defensive Backfield. Jarius step right in after the injury to Donte Whitner and has made some tremendous defensive plays that helped the Bills win last two football games against New York Jets and Carolina Panthers. Byrd has come up with two interceptions the last two games which set up touchdown opportunities for the Buffalo Bills pathetic offense. The defensive plays that Byrd has made the last two weeks helped save Head Coach Dick Jauron job and Buffalo Bills season. Jarius has a knack for being around the football and making intelligent football plays which has been sorely needed on the Bills defense for the last ten years. The one thing that three top all world NFL safeties Troy Pomlameu, Bob Sanders and Ed Reed all have in common there are always around the football making plays that win football games. Jarius Byrd was drafted in the second round out of Oregon and he has played against some of the best pro-style offenses in country while, playing in the PAC-10 Conference. Jarius played against USC, Oregon State and Arizona who all have former NFL head coaches who run a NFL pro-style offense which prepared Jarius for NFL. Jarius also, comes from good stock his father Gil Byrd played for the San Diego Chargers and was a great defensive back who helped the Chargers go to two AFC Championship games. Jarius is second in the NFL with five interceptions behind only Darrin Sharper of New Orleans who is having a career at safety. Finally, Jarius has the opportunity to become on of the best Defensive players in the NFL if he improves every week and he, is put in the right situation to make plays. A football team is only as great a some of there Stars. I personally believe a "Star Is Born" in Jarius Byrd

Buffalo Bills Cage Carolina Panthers 20-9
The Buffalo Bills cage Carolina Panthers 20-9 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Buffalo Bills defense controlled the football game and the Buffalo Bills won there second consecutive road football by defeating the Carolina Panthers in a unlikley fashion. The Bills defense was opportunistic again this week coming up with four Carolina Panthers turnovers after last week against Jets the Bills had six turnovers. The Bills Defense gave up 425 total yards to the Panthers but that did not matter because the Bills created the turnovers that determined the football game. The Panthers starting quarterback Jake Delhomme finished the game 27/44 325 yd.3 int. The Bills scored quickly after a Jake Delhomme first interception Marshawn Lynch scored on a 7 yd. touchdown run which gave the Bills a 7-0 first quarter lead. This was the Bills first rushing touchdown since the Chargers game last year. Marshawn finished the game with 17 car. 40 yd. and the Bills only had 53 total yards rushing for the game. The Panthers got right back in the game when Fred Jackson was tackled in the end zone by H. Thomas. The Bills lead was cut to 7-2 at halftime. The Bills increased there lead early in the fourth quarter after another Jake Delhomme interception with a 6 play 27 yards drive that was capped of by a Ryan Fitzpatrick 2 yd. touchdown pass to Lee Evans. Lee Evans finished the game with 5 rec. 75 yards and one touchdown. This is the second straight week Lee Evans has scored a important touchdown. This Bills added a Rian Lindell field goal after a 5 play 55 yards to increase there lead to 17-2. the key play to the drive was a deep pass down the right sideline for 50 yards to Lee Evans. The Panthers finally, scored a touchdown after a Steve Smith 48 yards reception which set up a DeAngleo Williams 15 yd. touchdown run which cut the Bills lead to 17-9. The Panthers had a chance to tie the football game but, K. Moore muffed the punt by Brian Moorman and it was recovered by Derek Fine. The Bills scores on a 7 play 16 yards Drive 3:19 which was capped off by a Rian Lindell 22 yard field goal. The Bills had a commanding 20-9 lead which finished the Carolina Panthers comeback. The Bills finished the football game with only 167 total yards. Ryan Fitzpatrick managed the football game going 11/22 123 yards 1 td. The star of the Football game is Jarius Byrd who had two interceptions again this week and George Wilson also, had another interception this week. This tandem could be the future of the Bills defensive backfield. I will give the Bills some credit for showing some character after losing to the Cleveland Browns 6-3. The question over the next two weeks is who is going to be the Bills starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick or Trent Edwards.

Buffalo Bills Blitz NFL Week 7 Picks
Buffal Bills Blitz first pick of the week 7 (Atlanta +4 over Cowboys). I listed the Atlanta Falcons a an overrated football team early this season. However, something has changed. I don't know what happened, but the Falcons suddenly have a very solid defense. Save for on game against New England, Atlanta has surrendered 20 points or less in every contest. The Falcons have done well against the run the last two weeks. They are also, getting a pair of sacks each game, which helps a secondary which is ninth versus the pass, The injury to Brian Williams hurts, but I don't consider that a deal breaker. The Cowboys are a (Soft) football team because of there big names Tony Romo, Roy Williams and Jason Whitten but they have no substance. Left Tackle Flozell Adams has allowed three sacks this season and has been whistled for seven penalties already, will struggles against John Abraham who had been pretty mediocre this year. The key to the game is that Matt Ryan has only been sacked twice this year, and I can't wait to see that number go up against a Dallas Cowboy mediocre pass rush. With Micheal Turner running well, Ryan will have all the time he needs to find open wide receivers downfield. It will not be a pretty display for the Cowboy defense. Falcons 27 Cowboys 20. The second pick of the week is (Dolphins +6 Over Saints). It is hard to imagine Drew Brees slowing down, but let's not forget that he was held under 200yards against the Bills and Jets. At Buffalo, Bress was 16 for 29 172 yards. This is just proof that he is mortal. I am aware that there is a huge difference between the Bills and Dolphins when it comes to pass defense. Bills are actually ranked second. The Dolphins are 30th ranked. to stop Bress the Dolphins will have pressure on him without sending more than four players. Dolphins pass rush has done well of late, but Brees is protected by one of the top offensive lines in the NFL. I doubt if he gets touched during this contest. The Dolphins offense has improved tremendously under quarterback Chad Henne. Unlike Chad Pennington, Henne can stretch the field with his great arm strenght which opens up room for Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams, who are both averaging about 5 yards per carry this season. I think this is a terrible spot for the Saints. They are coming off a emotional game against the New York Giants. After the Dolphins who they are expected to handle easily. They have the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. The Dolphins 27 Saints 23 in a upset. The final game of the week is the Carolina (Panthers-7 over Buffalo Bills). Trent Edwards may not play because of a concussion suffered during the game against the New York Jets. Both Edwards and Fitzpatrick are pretty identical. In, fact there may be a came that most fans would rather have Fitzpatrick at quarterback because he actually has the balls to throw the football downfield to Terrel Owens and Lee Evans. Fitzpatrick may not have the arm to get it there, but he would at least strecth the defense. The Panthers are 27th against the rush and the Bills will depend on Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson should have plenty of wide open lanes to run the football. The Panthers actually grew a brain last week and got back to the basics week. they saw a big weakness in the Bucs defensive line and exploited it by running the football with DeAngelo Williams and Johnathan Stewart 47 times both running backs had over 100 yards. I love the Panthers in this game because of there running game. Panthers 27 Bills 10

Buffalo Bills Run Defense is Terrible "318 Rushing Yards to The Jets"
I know that Buffalo Bills fans are celebrating 16-13 overtime upset over the New York Jets. This was a unlikely win because Trent Edwards was knocked out of the game with a concussion early in the first half. The victory against the Jets maybe a mirage because, there is glaring weakness on the Bills defense that will be exposed for the next 10 games and that is the Bills can't stop the run. The Buffalo Bills gave up 318 yards rushing yards to the New York Jets. The Jets running back combination of Thomas Jones and Leon Washington ran through the Bills Swiss cheese defense. Thomas Jones a mediocre running back at best finished the game with a career high 220 yards and Leon Washington 99 yards. This is the third consecutive week the Bills defense has given up 100 yards to a opposing teams running back. The Bills gave 100 yard rushing games to Perrier Thomas Saints, Ronnie Brown Dolphins and Thomas Jones Jets. There will be outside observers and Bills fans who would say the reason why Bills can't stop the run is because, the Bills Linebacker core is depleted from season ending injuries. The Bills had two starting linebackers in there staring line-up and there is no excuse for a NFL team to give up 318 yards rushing. The Bills Defensive Coordinator Perry Fewell has to devise a better scheme to stop opponents running games. The Bills have enough talent on defense to contain opponents running game to at least 130 yards a game and that is bad by NFL standards. The Bills have one of the highest paid defensive lines in the NFL and they will have to play better or the Bills will get crushed in the second half of the NFL season. The Bills have a tough test this upcoming week because the Carolina Panthers have the best running back combination in the NFL. DeAngleo Williams and Johnathan Stewart are a devastating combination who can dominate a football game. DeAngelo Williams rushed for 152 yards against the winless Tampa Bay Bucs yesterday. I personally think Williams has a shot of breaking the NFL rushing record against this Bills pathetic rush defense. I know that Bills fans are happy when we can get a win on Sunday but, on Monday reality has to set in the Bills can't win football games giving up 318 yards rushing. Thank You Mark Sanchez for the Bills victory.

Buffalo Bills Upset New York Jets 16-13 OT
The Buffalo Bills beat New York Jets 16-13 in overtime at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. The Buffalo Bills survived and won one of the worst games ever played in the Medowlands. New York Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan Blitz defense destroyed the Bills pathetic offensive line early in the game and knocked Trent Edwards 5/5 43 yd. out the game early in the second quarter with a borderline cheap shot. The Jets had a excellent day running the football behind there experienced offensive line lead by Nick Mangold and D. Ferguson. The Jets two headed monster Thomas Jones 22 car. 220 yd. 1td. and Leon Washington 15 car. 99 yd. ran all over the Bills depleted linebacker core for 318 yards. The Thomas Jones 71 yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter was the most exciting play of the football game. Mark Sanchez had a terrible game 10/29 119 yd. 5 int and quarterback rating 9.3. Sanchez threw some terrible passes in the snow to Braylon Edwards and Dustin Keller there fine young Tight End. The key to the game was the Bills defense which came up with 5 interceptions against the rookie quarterback. Trent Edwards replacement Ryan Fitzpatrick had a solid game as quarterback 10/25 116 yd. 1td 1int.. The Bills could not get a running game going because the Jets All-Pro Nose Tackle Kris Jenkins was blowing up the Bills offensive line. Marshawn Lynch 19 car. 61 yd. and Fred Jackson 15 car. 52 yd had a mediocre day running the football for the third consecutive week. The play of the game for the Bills was a Ryan Fitzpatrick 37 yd. touchdown pass to Lee Evans which tied the score 13-13. The Jets All-Pro Cornerback Darrell Revis help shutdown Terrell Owens 3 rec. 13yd. and Lee Evans 4 rec. 68 yd.. The Bills finally, won this awful football game on a Rian Lindell 47 yd. field goal late in overtime. This football game was a total debacle because of the weather but, the Bills finally one a close AFC East Football Game.

Buffalo Bills Blitz- NFL - Experts Picks Week 6
Buffalo Bills Blitz Week 6 NFL Stone Cold Lock Picks. The first picks is the Packers (-11.5)over Detroit Lions. Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers is 2-0 against Lions with 636 yards passing and 318 passing yards a game with six touchdowns and zero interceptions for 123.5 passer rating. Therefore, that is surley a misleading statistic because everyone has a great game against the Lions. Though they are certainly improved from the team that Rogers dominated last year. Detroit is not coming into Lambeau Field and beating the Packers on Sunday. The Packers 31, Lions 17. The second pick is the Jacksonville Jaguars (-10.5) over St. Louis Rams. The Jaguars are coming off a humiliating 41-0 loss Seattle Seahawks and the can't wait to get on the football field on Sunday a redeem themselves from the most embarrassing loss in Jaguar history. The Rams could be one of the worst football teams this decade because they have no offense or defense. They can't score and they can't stop there opponents from scoring. That is a bad combination for a NFL football team. I think Maurice-Jones-Drew will have a excellent game and the Jaguars defense will shut down the Rams hapless offense. Jaguars 34, Rams 10. The last pick is the New York Jets(-10) over Buffalo Bills. Rex Ryan defense will Blitz all day against the Bills worthless offensive line. The Jets were dominated by the Dolphins wildcat offense but, they will not have to worry about that this week. The Bills no-huddle offense is terrible and the Jets pass rushers should have a excellent day. I expect the Jets defense to get at least 5 sacks against the worst offensive line in the NFL. Mark Sanchez should have his best day as a pro against a Bills injury riddled defense. The Jets will crush the Bills. Jets 34 Bills 6.

Fire Buffalo Bills Head Coach Dick Jauron, Tom Moderack And John Guy
The Buffalo Bills Owner Ralph Wilson should fire Dick Jauron, Tom Moderack and John Guy and bring in a Head Coach and General Manger that will lead this Bills team out of the wilderness. Dick Jauron could be one of the worst coaches in the Buffalo Bills 50 year history. Dick Jauron will stand beside the likes of Buster Ramsey, Hank Bullough and Kay Stevenson and Greg Williams. The Buffalo Bills Owner Ralph Wilson has to be upset watching this version Buffalo Bills football team lose 12 out of the last 15 games. During the last 15 games the Bills have managed lose to the Cleveland Browns twice. This last Sunday the Bills loss to the Browns could be the most embarrassing loss in Ralph Wilson Stadium history in which the winning quarterback Derek Anderson 2/17 23 yd. 1 int. The Bills have had the same jokers running player personnel for the last 9 years Tom Moderack and John Guy who have destroyed the Bills organization. This organization drafted "BUMS" Mike Williams, Trent Edwards and J. P. Losman that setback the Buffalo Bills for the last 10 years. There has been teams in the AFC East who have torn down there organizations twice and went to the playoffs. The Dolphins and Jets have found a way to go to the playoffs during this period of time. The Bills are destined to be bottom dwellers in the AFC East because the Dolphins and Jets are getting better every year especially with there new quarterbacks Chad Henne and Marc Sanchez. The Bills fans should not support the Buffalo Bills until Ralph Wilson brings in a Head Coach that will bring back the Glory years of the 1960's and 1990's because the Bills fans deserve a better product for the money they are paying for season tickets.

Buffalo Bills Lose Cleveland Browns 6-3
The Buffalo Bills lose Cleveland Browns 6-3 at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. The Buffalo Bills maneged to lose to one of the worst teams in NFL in Ralph Wilson Stadium. The could be the worst loss in Buffalo Bills history and Head Coach Dick Jauron should be fired as Head Coach tonight. The Cleveland Browns came to Buffalo to lose the football game but the Bills gave away another football game because they are one of the worst Bills teams in there 50 year history. The Bills have no Offense at all and Trent Edwards 16/31 136 yd. 1int. is one of the worst quarterbacks in the NFL. Trent Edwards had a terrible day behind on of the worst offensive lines in NFL history. The Bills had a solid day rushing for 145 yd. and Marshawn Lynch had 70 yd. behind this awful offensive line. The only offensive line that could be worse than the Tampa Bay Bucs Offensive Line in 1976 in there expansion year of there franchise. The Browns won a football game with there quarterback Derek Anderson 2/17 23 yds. This could be the worse quarterback performances in a winning game. The Browns won the football game behind Jamal Lewis 31 car. 117 yd. in the Browns incredible win in Ralph Wilson Stadium. The other big play was was a Joshua Cribbs 31 yd run. The key to the Browns victory was two Roscoe Parrish fumbles which set up the Browns winning Billy Cundiff Field Goal late in the fourth quater. The total yards gained Browns 193 yds-Bills 293 yds. The Bills had three turnovers to the Browns one turnover. The Bills had nine false start penalties in this football game. This Bills team is a complete joke without any discipline. Finally Ralph Wilson should fire Dick Jauron tonight. This Buffalo Bills team is a embarrassment to the City Of Buffalo.

Buffalo Bills Blitz NFL Week 5 Picks Stone Cold Locks
Buffalo Bills Blitz Week 5 NFL Stone Cold Lock Picks. First Pick Cleveland Browns (+6) over Buffalo Bills. I actually think Eric Mangani did something smart each of the last two weeks. Two weeks ago, he named Derek Anderson the starter, ending the Brady Quinn experiment before the Notre Dame alumnus noodled any more footballs into double coverage. Then, this week, he pulled on of his best additions by subtraction trades I have seen in a while and still managed to get a starting receiver, a special teams ace and third-fifth round draft picks in exchange. Granted Braylon Edwards might get his act together in New York. But he is finished in Cleveland. Once you punch one of Lebron James buddies on his home turf and it happens to be a contract year for Lebron you are a dead man walking in that city. One day Lebron calls you "Childish". The next day you are cleaning toilets in Lebron's home casino. The Browns failed to notch a single first down rushing Sunday but scored two offensive touchdowns which was huge for them. the Browns should be able to run and pass the football on the Bills. The Browns Beat the Bills 24-17. Buffalo Bills Blitz second Pick Oakland Raiders (+14) over New york Giants. The Giants starting quarterback Eli Manning is questionable with a foot injury because he, did not practice the last two days. The Giants may have to turn to there backup quarterback David Carr to run the show. I expect the giants to win if Carr is the starting quarterback but they will not win by 14 points. The Giants will defeat the Raiders 24-14. The third pick is New England Patriots (-3.5) over Denver Broncos. I will have to give Josh McDaniel's credit for the Broncos 4-0 start with Kyle Orton as his starting quarterback. The Broncos were expected to win six or seven games this season now they are the favorites to win the AFC West. This week I expect the Broncos charmed life to end. The Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will exploit the the Broncos Defense and give the Broncos there first defeat. The Patriots will defeat the Broncos 31-20.

Buffalo Bills Should Trade Owens, Lynch, Kelsay And Denny
Buffalo Bills should try and trade Terrell Owens, Marshawn Lynch, Kris Kelsey and Ryan Denny for future draft picks. The Bills season is basically over and they should start preparing for the future 2010 NFL Draft. These players could get draft picks from the second round to seventh round. This could help the Bills re-build there organization so, they can compete with there rivals in the AFC East. This could also, help the Bills move up in the draft and possibly select the Quarterback of there choice and that could be Sam Bradford Oklahoma, Colt McCoy Texas and Tim Tebow Florida. The Bills should try and dump some of these contracts so they can go into the free agency market and select a Offensive Lineman and Linebacker. The Bills Owner Ralph Wilson needs to revamp the Bills organization by bringing in a General Manger and Coach that will make some wise decisions on players that will make the Bills a better football team. If Ralph Wilson want to compete with the Dolphins, Jets and Patriots he, will have to pay a coach about 6 million dollars a year and give them full control over the organization. Finally, I personally, don't think Ralph Wilson will give up complete control of the football team. Therefore, the Bills maybe in the "Dark Years" until Ralph Wilson comes to his senses or sells the football team to a new owner.

Buffalo Bills Blitz Monday Morning QB "FIRE DICK JAURON"
The Buffalo Bills Head Coach Dick Jauron is one of the most incompetent coaches in Buffalo Bills history. Dick Jauron officially lost this football team when he, refused to go for it on fourth and one against the New Orleans Saints trailing 17-7. The game yesterday against the 0-3 Miami Dolphins was a microcosm of his tenure as head coach of the Buffalo Bills. The Bills were not prepared to play against a "Physical" Dolphins football team. Jauron was out coached again and he also, looked clueless on the sidelines during the football game. Jauron has no emotion and he does not do any coaching on game day. Why is Ralph Wilson paying Dick Jauron 3 million dollars a year not to do any coaching. Ralph Wilson has to bring in a coach that will change the culture of this organization. The changes that were made last year with several football teams have changed there fortunes. The 49ers Mike Singletary, Jets Rex Ryan, Broncos Josh McDaniels have turned around there football teams. There is no excuse why the Bills should lose to the Dolphins with a backup quarterback Chad Henne by almost 30 points. Dick Jauron should be fired this mourning at Ralph Wilson Stadium because, his football team did no compete yesterday against a mediocre Dolphins football team. Finally, this is a indictment of Ralph Wilson for his poor leadership for the last ten years. Dick Jauron will join the Bills team of infamous coaches that include Buster Ramsey, Hank Bullough, Greg Williams and Kay Stevenson who presided over the dark years of the Buffalo Bills franchise. Ralph "FIRE DICK JAURON" TODAY. I would love to here your comments.

Miami Dolphins crush Buffalo Bills 38-10
The Buffalo Bills Lose Miami Dolphins 38-10 for the third straight time and seventh consecutive loss within the AFC East. The Dolphins dominated the football game by running there vaunted 'Wildcat Offense" with Ronnie Brown And Ricky Williams. The star of the game was Dolphins Running Back Ronnie Brown who 20 carries 115 yd. 2td. The Dolphins got a solid game from there second year quarter Chad Henne 14/22 115 yd. 1td. who managed the Football game perfectly. The Buffalo Bills Offense and Quarterback situation is in "Chaos" because Trent Edwards 14/26 192 yd. 3int. and he was just terrible for second straight week. The Dolphins scored early in the second quarter after a 11 play 65 yard drive and it was capped off by a D. Carpenter 33 yd. field goal. The Dolphins scored again after a Trent Edwards 23 yd. interception return by Vonte Davis which increased the Dolphins lead to 10-0. The Bills finally got on the scoreboard after a 5 play 37 yd. drive capped off by a Rian Lindell 35 yard field goal which cut the dolphins lead to 10-3. The Dolphins put together a excellent 9 play 66 yd. drive which was capped off by a Ronnie Brown 1 yd. touchdown run. The Dolphins opened up the second half scoring with a 12 play 65 yd. drive that was capped off by a Chad Henne 5 yd. touchdown pass to Brian Hartline. The Dolphins capitalized on another Trent Edwards interception by Will Allen. The Dolphins went 7 plays 27 yd. and scored on a Ricky Williams 1 yd. touchdown run to increase the lead to 31-3. The Bills opened up the fourth quarter with a 9 play 80 yd drive which was capped off by a 3 yd. touchdown pass to Josh Reed which cut the Dolphins lead to 31-10. the dolphins put the final nail in the Bills coffin with a 3 play 58 yd. drive with a Ronnie Brown 4 yd. touchdown run. The Bills have officially quit on Dick Jauron tonight and it showed with one of the worst Bills performances I have seen in the last ten years. The Bills Defense is terrible they can't stop the run for the second straight week the Bills Defense gave up over 200 yd. of rushing. The Bills made Chad Henne of the Dolphins look like a vetran quarterback. The Bills will have to address there quarterback and coaching situation at the end of the season becuase, this could be one of the worst football teams in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills would be lucky to win 5 games this season. Finally, Dick Jauron should be fired tonight there is no reason for the Bills to lose the Dolphins by almost 30 points. Fire Dick Jauron.
