Buffalo Bills QB Trent Edwards A Frachise Quarterback

The question as Bills Fans we have to ask is Trent Edwards a Franchise Quarterback. Trent Edwards is a very nice young man and role model but does he have the football intelligence or instincts to make the right calls and plays during a crucial time in a football game. Trent has a difficult time getting the football to the playmakers on the Bills. There is no excuse why Trent can not get the football to Roscoe Parrish, Lee Evans and Terrell Owens on a consistent basis. Trent has two of the finest weapons in NFL and it seems like they don't exist for long periods of time during the football game. There is no reason why Terrell Owens did not catch a pass against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are not the Baltimore Ravens of 2000 so, what is the problem with Trent Edwards is he checking down to the Tight Ends and Running Backs too fast or he can not see the play develop in time to get the Football to his Wide Receivers. This is a ongoing question that needs to be resolved by the Bills Offensive Coordinator Alex Van Pelt. If this question is not resolved the Bills will have another 7-9 season and miss the playoffs. The NFL is a quarterback driven league. If your quarterback plays well like Marc Sanchez for New York Jets you have a shot of making the playoffs, but if your quarterback is mediocre you will miss the playoffs like the Bills for the past nine years.
