THE BUFFALO BILLS SECOND ROUND DRAFT PICK JARIUS BYRD

The Buffalo Bills select Jarius Byrd out of Oregon with the 42th Draft pick in the Second Round in the 2009 NFL DRAFT. Jarius was All-Pac Ten Cornerback for the last two seasons and he, also lead the Pac-Ten Conference in interceptions over the last two seasons with 17 interceptions. Jarius has strong man to man skills and will be a excellent nickle and dime conerback for the Buffalo Bills in the upcoming 2009 football season. Jaruius Byrd is a true ball hawk and he, will get some much needed turnovers for the Bills average defense. The Bills drafted Jarius in the second round because they need Cornerbacks to match up with New England Patriots explosive offense lead by Tom Brady. The Conerback position was a glaring need after losing Jabari Greer to the New Orleans Saints.
