BUFFALO BILLS TRADE JASON PETERS TO EAGLES

The Buffalo Bills have traded there two-time Pro Bowl Offensive Tackle to the Philadelphia Eagles for the Eagles first round draft pick the 28th overall pick and fourth round draft pick and a undisclosed draft pick in the 2010 NFL DRAFT. The Buffalo Bills had problems signing Jason Peters because he, wanted to become one of the highest paid salary players at his position with a average salary of 11 million dollars similar money to the top offensive linemen in the NFL. Jason Peters has been asked to fly to Philadelphia on Friday to meet with the Eagles who have 12 draft choices including two first round draft picks. The trade is contingent on Peters passing a physical and agreeing to contract extension. The Eagles would like to have a contract extension in place before the trade is completed. The Eagles might not be able to announce the trade until late Sunday evening. Peters is scheduled to make 3.3 million dollars this coming season. Last year Peters held out of training camp but did not receive a new contract extension. Peters is signed through the 2010 season and then he can become a free agent. The Bills drafted Peters as a Tight End and turned him into a Offensive Tackle and he ended up starting 10 games by the end of his second season. Buffalo eventually turned him into one of the best Offensive lineman in the NFL.
