Buffalo Bills Crush Tampa Bay Bucs 33-20

The Buffalo Bills beat Tampa Bay Bucs 33-20 at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. The Bills starting quarterback Trent Edwards had a solid football game throwing the football to Derek Schouman, Terrell Owens and Lee Evans. Trent Edwards finished the 21/31 230 yds. 2td 1 int. Trent Edwards opened up the Bills scoring early in the first quarter after a Brian Scott interception with a 32 yd. touchdown pass to Lee Evans. The Bills scored again quickly when Tampa Bay quarterback Byron Leftwich threw his second interception on consecutive possessions to Donte Whitner which was returned 76 yds. for a touchdown and the Bills took a early 14-0 lead. The Bills added on to there first quarter lead with a Rian Lindell 21 yd. field goal making the score 17-0. The Bucs made a furious second quarter comeback behind the leadership of Byron Leftwich who finished the game 26/50 296 yds. 2td. 2int. Byron Leftwich opened up the Bucs scoring with a beautiful 42 yd. pass to Kellen Winslow Jr. which cut the Bills lead to 17-7. The Bucs scored again in the second quarter after a Fred Jackson fumble when Leftwich threw a 8 yd touchdown pass to Cadillac Williams which cut the Bills lead to 20-14. The Bills finally, opened up second half scoring after a 13 play 64 yd. drive which ended with a Rian Lindell 27 yd. field goal to increase the Bills lead to 23-14. The "Nail" in the Bucs coffin came on the Bills next possession in a 2 play 54 yd. drive which was capped off by the play of the game when Trent Edwards hit Terrell Owens on a 43 yd. touchdown pass to increase the Bills lead to 30-14. The Buffalo Bills star of the game was Fred Jackson who had another excellent game in the absence of Marshawn Lynch. Fred Jackson had his best day as a Buffalo Bill. Fred Jackson carried the ball 28 times for 163 yds. and he, controlled the football game for the Buffalo Bills. Fred Jackson finished the first half with 97 yds. rushing which helped Trent Edwards when he was struggling with the Bills passing game. Fred Jackson helped seal the game on the final drive when the Bills drove 6 plays 55 yds. which ended up with a Rain Lindell 20 yd. field goal. Fred Jackson has been the star of the Bills for the first two weeks and he, has earned the starting Running back position even when Marshawn Lynch returns from his suspension. The Bills defense had a solid football game getting two turnovers that led to Bills touchdowns. The key to the Bills victory is the Bills defense held the Bucs running game to 57 yds after getting 173 yds. against the Dallas Cowboys. The Bills finished the game with 218 yds rushing which they will try and duplicate next week against the high-flying New Orleans Saints. The Bills also, got two much needed sacks from Marcus Stroud and Ryan Denny which helped stop Tampa Bay drives. The Bills finished the game with 438 yds.- Bucs 353 yds. Finally, the Bills should enjoy this win after the heartbreaking loss to the Patriots. The Bills must start preparing tonight for the Saints because they seem like they are unstoppable on offense.
