Buffalo Bills Cut Dominic Rhodes And Curt Chambers

The Buffalo Bills surprised everyone by releasing Dominic Rhodes because, many observers thought that he, would be a solid backup to Fred Jackson during Marshawn Lynch three game suspension. Dominic Rhodes was beaten out by second year running back Xavier Omon as the team reduced their roster to 53 players on Saturday. The Bills also. put James Hardy on the PUP list for the regular season and he will not be able to practice with the team for the next six weeks. James Hardy the second year receiver can start practicing on Oct. 19 with the rest of the team. In another surprise cut Chris Chambers who has served as the Bills swing Tackle for the past two seasons was also among the veterans released. The Emergence of second year player Demetrius Bell helped make the veteran Offensive Lineman expendable. In addition to Chambers and Rhodes the Bills cut 18 players: 1. QB Matt Baker 2. Finally, why is Ryan Denny and Chris Kelsey still on this football team when they can't put any pressure on the quarterback from the Defensive End position. The Bills could have save some money under the cap by releasing Denny and Kelsay and kept Copeland Bryan who was improving every game this preseason.
