NFL Week 6 Picks Buffalo Bills @ New York Jets Preview

Even though the New York Jets are coming off a short week they recognize the importance of a divisional game. The Jets can score and the Bills can't stop anyone from scoring. that is simple math. The Jets are reeling after two losses and the Bills most exciting player maybe a wooden statue of Thurman Thomas. That shows you the condition of the Buffalo Bills franchise. The jets have lost two games in a row while, you can say they battled two solid opponents in a harsh environment, one thing that sticks out is that they 17th against the rush. What happened to Kris Jenkins, David Harris, Bart Scott? Why aren't they stopping the run? Well this week I think that they get back there against the pathetic Bills Offensive Line. Marshawn Lynch averaged 4.1 YPC. against the Browns last week, which equivalent to 2.1 YPC. against a normal NFL football team. The Bills offensive line isn't any good and they will not be able to open up any running lanes for Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson. If I am right and the Bills can't run the football, Trent Edwards will be stuck in long yardage situations. And given that he is playing against Rex Ryan "Exotic Blitz Schemes", it's not going to be a good day for Trent Edwards. Edwards will have to check down almost every passing play to avoid being sacked by the Jets defense. The Jets will run the football all over the Bills, setting up easy passing downs for Mark Sanchez. The Bills have massive injury problems in the secondary, so I like Sanchez chances on converting third downs and moving the chains. It will be interesting to sees if Braylon Edwards keeps making spectacular catches. Remember he, thrived on Monday Nights in Cleveland, but would always revert to dropping the football Sunday afternoons. a new environment could change that, but we will have to see. Buffalo has so, many injuries on defense and it got worse when they lost stud linebacker Kawika Mitchell is now out for the year. The only way the Bills can win this game is if Trent Edwards has the best game of his career throwing the football to Terrell Owens and Lee Evans. This will not happen Edwards will probably get sacked 7 times and fumble football several times under the pressure of the Jets defense. The Jets have lost two games in a row and they are angry. I think that they will get back to the basics and slaughter this horrific Bills squad at home. The Jets Defeat the Bills 31-6
