NFL Week 7 Preview: Buffalo Bills @ Carolina Panthers

The Buffalo Bills got extremely lucky last week and defeated the New York Jets 16-13 overtime. The Bills needed six turnovers to beat the New York Jets at the Meadowlands. The Bills lost their starting quarterback Trent Edwards to injury early in the first half and backup Ryan Fitzpatrick had to finished the game. Fitzpatrick had a solid game coming off the bench throwing a game tie touchdown pass to Lee Evans and leading the Bills to victory. The Bills offense is one of the most inept offenses in the NFL but, that is not there most serious problem. the Bills defense is terrible with injuries mounting on defense there Swiss cheese defense can only get worse. The Bills are playing with there second starting defensive backfield and starting outside linebacker Kavika Mitchell is lost for the season with a torn ACL. The Bills also, lost there best defensive lineman over the last few games Kyle Williams who will probably not play against the Carolina Panthers. This crop of injuries for the Bills is a bad tonic because, the Carolina Panthers are the best running football team in the NFL. The Panthers running game is lead by the best running back combination in the NFL DeAngelo Williams and Johnathan Stewart who both had over hundred yards against the hapless Tampa Bay Bucs. The Panthers have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL and they should have a excellent game against the Bills depleted defensive line and linebackers. The Bills gave up 318 rushing yards to the Jets and won the football game but, that will not happen this week against the Panthers. The Panthers have there own problems at quarterback with Jake Delhoumme who is one of the worst rated quarterbacks in the NFL. Delhoumme is tied with Mark Sanchez with ten interceptions and he has not been able to get the football to Steve Smith one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. I expect Steve Smith to have a break out game against the Bills weak Secondary. The Panthers defense has been solid this year and they should able to shut Ryan Fitzpatrick the stand out quarterback from Harvard. This game is the steal of the week. Carolina 27 Buffalo 10
