Bills vs. Patriots "Will The Bills Break There 15 Game Losing Streak"

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- There's a moment captured in NFL Films' "Bill Belichick: A Football Life" in which the Patriots squeak out a 17-10 win in Buffalo late in the 2009 season and New England's coach tells his son on the sideline, "We sweated that one out, like we always do against these guys."

It wasn't exactly the truth.

Not only have the Patriots won 15 straight regular-season meetings against the Bills -- the fourth-longest streak in NFL history -- they haven't lost in Buffalo since opening day in 2003 (Lawyer Milloy's revenge game). During those seven straight wins in Orchard Park, N.Y., the Patriots have won by an average of 23 points per game, including a 56-10 thrashing in 2007 and a 34-3 throttling last year.

But it's a new season, and it's more likely that Belichick showed his troops clips from that 2009 game than any of the 39 touchdowns or 4,105 yards that Tom Brady has thrown for in 18 career games against Buffalo (tops of any opponent he's faced).

"It doesn't get any easier for us," sighed Vince Wilfork. "We're going to have to go on the road and play some good football if we want to walk away with the W. But it's going to be tough, I guarantee you that, because this is a new Buffalo Bills team. They're 2-0. Looking at them on film, they're making big plays after big plays. They actually look pretty good. It's not smoke and mirrors with them. They're the real deal, and that's how we approach it.

"Right now, no consecutive games, how many we won against them, that doesn't have anything to do with this year. It's going to be a tough-fought football game."

There are certainly reasons for the Patriots to be wary of Buffalo. The Bills boast the league's top rushing and scoring offense through two games. After throttling Kansas City in Week 1, Buffalo clawed its way back to top Oakland, showing more resiliency than has been spotted in recent years.

Alas, New England's toughest opponent might be the injury bug. The Patriots emerged battered and bruised from last Sunday's win over the Chargers. After putting two players -- center Dan Koppen and defensive lineman Myron Pryor -- on injured reserve this week, the team's final injury report still contained 15 names, including three players who are officially out (tight end Aaron Hernandez, offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer and defensive lineman Mike Wright) and eight who are questionable.

The injuries have forced the Patriots to scramble a bit, making a handful of roster moves in order to add depth in thinned areas (defensive line, secondary). Heck, New England isn't even certain if Zoltan Mesko (questionable, left knee) will be able to punt on Sunday, which could force some interesting fourth-down decisions.

"That's football," Belichick said with a shrug. "Every team has guys on the injury list. Every team has guys on injured reserve. You play with what you've got."

Offensively, there are fewer concerns, but the absence of Hernandez means the Patriots will likely have to make changes. After running 125 of their 151 offensive snaps with multiple tight ends, injuries -- and a lack of available tight ends -- might force the Patriots to open things up a bit. That could lead to opportunities for wide receiver Chad Ochocinco to assert himself after all the scrutiny he endured from tweeting his "awe" of the Patriots' early season efforts.

[+] EnlargeChad Ochocinco
Elsa/Getty ImagesChad Ochocinco has just three catches for 59 yards in two games.

Up front, the loss of Vollmer will press rookie Nate Solder back into a starting role. He performed admirably in Week 1 in Miami against the likes of Pro Bowler Cameron Wake, showing glimpses of why he was the 17th overall pick in the draft. The Patriots do lose the ability to utilize him as a blocking third tight end, a luxury enjoyed last week against San Diego with Vollmer able to suit up.

Defensively, it's a bit more daunting. The secondary is ailing. Rookie cornerback Ras-I Dowling (hip) and safety Patrick Chung (hand) are part of the group listed as questionable. The Patriots were forced to bring in former 49ers corner Phillip Adams as emergency depth, while Antwaun Molden, signed late in the preseason, could be thrust into a larger role than he had seen in three seasons with Houston.

The defensive line is dinged up, but that group can take some pressure off the secondary with a sustained pass rush, something that wasn't always there against San Diego. New England's defensive front will face its biggest ground challenge this week with Buffalo's rushing attack led by Fred Jackson.

Throughout the week, the Patriots showered Buffalo with praise, but Sunday's game might ultimately hinge on their own health and being able to overcome attrition.

And don't even bring up that 15-game winning streak.

"That doesn't really mean anything," Belichick told the Buffalo media on a conference call. "I mean, most of the players that played in those games will be watching them on TV, so I don't think that really matters."

Added Brady: "I'll tell you, [the streak doesn't mean] anything for this game. It doesn't matter if you have won 100 in a row. The team that is going to win this weekend is the team that plays the best. It has nothing to do with the team in '07 or the '05 game. None of that matters. The team that is going to win is the team that makes the most plays, that plays well under pressure [and] that does the right thing consistently over the course of 60 minutes.

"This is a dangerous team that is very talented and very explosive in all phases of the game. They have a great punter, great kicker; they're very good on special teams; [they have] a damn good defense and an offense that's scoring a ton of points. Certainly, we would never think that this team is not a threat."

Patriots Beat The Billls Ass Again, Clinch No.1 Seed In AFC

Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - Although the calendar may read December 26, it's Groundhog Day for the Buffalo Bills whenever they're pitted against the New England Patriots.

Tom Brady added to his MVP resume with three touchdown passes, and the Patriots locked up not only the AFC East crown for the seventh time in the past eight seasons, but also the conference's top seed with a 34-3 victory over the Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

New England (13-2) has won 15 straight over the Bills since a 31-0 drubbing at Buffalo during the first week of the 2003 campaign.

The Patriots went on to win the Super Bowl that season and now find themselves in an enviable position in their quest to return to the big game as the conference's representative this year.

Brady finished with only 140 yards on 15-of-27 efficiency, while rookie tight end Rob Gronkowski caught a pair of eight-yard touchdown passes in the Patriots' seventh straight win since a loss in Cleveland on November 7.

New England forced seven turnovers on Sunday, five of which were committed by Buffalo quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick completed 18-of-37 throws for 251 yards with three interceptions. He also fumbled twice.

Fred Jackson had 81 yards on 13 carries for the Bills (4-11).

Buffalo Bills Lose 14 Game in A Row To Patritos 38-30

Beating the Buffalo Bills has become so routine for the Patriots that a close score could cause concern for New England's fans.

Not for Tom Brady.

The Patriots extended their winning streak over the Bills to 14 games with a 38-30 victory on Sunday, the most points Buffalo has scored in any of those meetings. New England gave up 374 yards to a winless team that totaled just 352 yards in its first two games.

"A win's a win," Brady said. "It doesn't really matter if you win by 50 or by one because the following week it really makes no difference how you did the previous week."

He proved that by rebounding from a subpar outing a week earlier in a 28-14 loss to the New York Jets. In the second half, he completed just 7 of 16 passes for 69 yards and two interceptions as the Jets outscored the Patriots 18-0.

"Two things helped us," wide receiver Wes Welker said Sunday. "We were more unpredictable on offense and we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot."

The Patriots (2-1) had their most balanced attack of the season with 252 yards and three touchdowns passing and 200 yards and two touchdowns rushing. But they led just 31-23 after three quarters.

"There were a lot of times in this game when we weren't playing too well," linebacker Jerod Mayo said. "We had to refocus and get back on track."

Brady improved to 16-1 against the Bills, completing 21 of 27 passes for 252 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Two of those scores went to Randy Moss. And Brady wasn't sacked once.

"A guy like that is going to have a big day if you don't get pressure on him," Buffalo coach Chan Gailey said.

Brady hasn't lost to the Bills (0-3) since the 2003 opener, but they stayed close for most of the game only to be done in by fourth-quarter interceptions by Patrick Chung and Brandon Meriweather.

"We felt like we had a chance and we came up short," quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick said. "The offense played better today, but it's all about winning."

The mobile Fitzpatrick provided a spark after starting in place of Trent Edwards, who led the Bills to the NFL's least productive offense in the first two weeks of the season.

Fitzpatrick completed 20 of 28 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.

First-round draft pick C.J. Spiller scored his first NFL touchdowns on a 5-yard pass from Fitzpatrick and a 95-yard kickoff return, but Buffalo's last chance faded when Fitzpatrick threw an interception to Meriweather with 3 minutes left.

"He's always trying to make a play. You've got to give him credit for that," Gailey said of Fitzpatrick. "I don't want to temper him, but I want him to be smart."

New England tied Miami for the third-longest winning streak against a single opponent. The Dolphins beat the Colts in 14 straight games from 1980-1987. The Colts moved from Baltimore to Indianapolis in 1984.

"Beating them (again) wasn't easy," Mayo said. "We still have a lot of work to do. Any division game is tough."

New England took a 17-16 lead at intermission on Stephen Gostkowski's 43-yard field goal on the last play of the half. Rian Lindell kicked three field goals in the first two quarters for Buffalo.

"We get a couple of touchdowns earlier in the game when we were in the red zone and things may be different," wide receiver Lee Evans said.

Moss caught a 35-yard scoring pass on the first possession of the second half, but Spiller returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown, making it 24-23. Then Brady threw a 5-yard scoring pass to Rob Gronkowski late in the third and BenJarvus Green-Ellis scored on a 7-yard run midway through the fourth.

Buffalo made it 38-30 as Fitzpatrick hit Steve Johnson for a 37-yard touchdown with 4:08 remaining. Then the Patriots punted, but on the next play Meriweather got his interception.

The Patriots won without running back Kevin Faulk, who sustained a season-ending knee injury against the Jets. But Green-Ellis ran for 98 yards and Danny Woodhead scored on a 22-yard run after being released by the Jets and signing the previous weekend. It was his first NFL touchdown.

"They do a good job of changing up their tendencies," Buffalo linebacker Keith Ellison said of the Patriots, "running when you think they will pass and passing when you think they will run."

No matter what they do or how they do it, the Patriots beat the Bills. Playing the Miami Dolphins on the road next Monday night should be tougher.

They've all been tough for the Bills, despite their best offensive performance of the season Sunday.

"I've never felt good about a loss in my whole life," Gailey said. "There were some encouraging things, but you either win or you lose in this business. And we didn't win."

Buffalo Bills Are Due For A Win Against The New England Patriots

After dropping their first two regular-season assignments, the Buffalo Bills are bracing for an even tougher test Sunday when they play the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

The Bills (0-2) are expected to go all out against the Patriots after they suffered a humiliating 34-7 loss to the Green Bay Packers last week.

However, history does not favor the Bills coming into Sunday’s matchup.

In their last 11 matches, the Bills were simply outclassed by their AFC East rival, as they lost by an average margin of 33-11.

Nevertheless, the Bills are determined to turn the tables this time around.

Bills safety Donte Whitner said he’s tired of being mocked on the field each time they suffer a defeat to the three-time Super Bowl winners.

"Yeah, by the end of the fourth quarter they are laughing at us,” Whitner shared of his humbling experience after losing to the Pats last season. ”It always happens.”

Whitner, who never won a game against the Pats since joining the Bills in 2006, believes the sole reason for their rival’s success vs. Buffalo is Tom Brady.

Since 2001, Brady went 15-1 against the Bills and completed 65 percent of his passes for 3,713 yards and 33 touchdowns.

The Bills have to contain Brady, if they would want to end the losing streak.

"We’re ready to beat New England and I know coach wants to go up there and beat New England. So we have an opportunity and what we do with that opportunity is up to us.” Whitner added. It will never happen Patriots 34-Bills 10

Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots Preview Week 3

The New England Patriots got off to a fast start with an impressive 38-24 home win over the defending AFC North champion Cincinnati Bengals, but they were cut back down to size in Week 2 with a disappointing 28-14 loss to division rival New York. Fortunately, New England has an excellent opportunity to bounce back this week against the Buffalo Bills, who are coming off a 34-7 loss at Green Bay. In fact, NFL odds makers are expecting a blowout, listing the Patriots as a 13-point favorite with the total set at 42.

The Patriots took a 14-10 lead into halftime against the Jets, but they were outscored 18-0 in the second half. Mark Sanchez outperformed future Hall of Famer Tom Brady, as he was able to take advantage of New England’s young secondary.

The Jets went right at second-year corner Darius Butler, and it paid off. Braylon Edwards was able to burn him for a touchdown and a two-point conversion. Butler was also flagged for two pass interference calls that led to another New York score.

As a collective unit, New England had no answer for tight end Dustin Keller, who caught seven passes for 115 yards and a score. The Patriots are going to need Butler and Devin McCourty to improve if they are going to win the AFC East.

A date with the Bills could be just what the doctor ordered for these young corners and the rest of the defense. Buffalo is only averaging 89 yards per game through the air. Last week, quarterback Trent Edwards was just 11 of 18 for 102 yards and two interceptions. He was also sacked four times. A dominant performance against Buffalo could be the confidence booster this defense needs before heading to Miami in Week 4.

New England has won 13 in a row against Buffalo, and eight of those wins have come by at least 13 points.

Buffalo played division rival Miami tough in Week 1, losing by just 5 points, but the Bills were completely outclassed last week. They could be in for another embarrassing loss if the offense can’t find a way to move the football.

The Bills have had 23 total possessions in two games, and nine of those have been three-and-outs. Seven of those possessions have gone for negative yards. In all, Buffalo has managed just 23 first downs, 352 yards and 17 points on the season.

Going into the season, Buffalo felt it had a better chance of winning games by running the football, but this may be the week to turn Edwards loose to see what he is really made of. Thus far, the New England defense has allowed opposing quarterbacks to complete 68.7 percent of their passes.

Defensively, the Bills must come up with some takeaways if they are going to pull off the shocking upset. The Jets were able to pick off Brady twice, and we saw the result. Consider that Buffalo is a perfect 7-0 against the spread since the beginning of the 2008 season when it forces two turnovers, winning these games by an average score of 27.1 to 18.9.

Buffalo Bills will lose to the New England Patriots once again. Patriots 41-Bills 13

Buffalo Bils Blitz 2010 AFC East: Burning Questions

• Is the hype around the Jets justified?

A qualified yes, if only because the mix of offseason additions and holdovers from last year's run to the AFC championship game looks great on paper. We know, we know, paper championships mean nothing in the real world and the Jets will have plenty of work to do to get back to the postseason, to say nothing of the title game or the Super Bowl. But the team should be better than the one that led the Colts after 30 minutes, because the additions of Antonio Cromartie and Santonio Holmes fill huge holes, while a healthy Kris Jenkins and maturing Mark Sanchez are the equivalent of significant trade pickups.

• Can the Patriots stand up to an aerial assault?

Passing is the hot new thing in the AFC East this season, as the addition of Holmes and Brandon Marshall to the Jets and Dolphins, respectively, will mean a lot more balls in the air for two teams that lived and died by the run in 2009. The Patriots will need to gird themselves to stop these offenses a combined four times in the year to come, something that could present a problem unless they find better answers to their issues at cornerback and pass rusher. Darius Butler and Jonathan Wilhite were underwhelming across from Leigh Bodden in the secondary last year, which could open the door for first-round pick Devin McCourty as a starter. Tully Banta-Cain had 10 sacks in 2009 but no one else on the roster had more than five. Someone is going to have to step up and provide pressure if the Patriots are to repeat as division champs.
Marshall's arrival in Miami signals more than Bill Parcells's willingness to gamble on a talented player with character flaws. It also signals a significant change in the team's thought process on offense. With Chad Henne and his strong arm throwing to Marshall, the Dolphins have less need to reach into their bag of tricks to find ways to move the ball down the field. What's more, Ronnie Brown's inability
to stay healthy gave Ricky Williams an extended chance last year, and Williams proved to be an even bigger beast when running out of traditional sets. The Dolphins will likely still find ways to showcase both their backs (and backup quarterback Pat White) but don't expect to see quite as much of the wildcat as in the past two seasons.

• Will the Bills' defense thrive in its new 3-4 scheme?

The change in looks for the front seven in Buffalo means a lot of position shuffling among their holdover players. Aaron Maybin and Chris Kelsey are now outside linebackers, while Marcus Stroud and John McCargo are going to play on the ends of the defensive line. Those kinds of changes usually lead to some growing pains, pains that would be exacerbated if Aaron Schobel goes through with his retirement plans instead of making the shift to linebacker. That's a lot of moving parts for a team that isn't looking like it will wow anyone with its work on the offensive side of the ball -- and that could spell big trouble in upstate New York.

Buffalo Bills: AFC East Weekly News

Buffalo Bills

Even though they've missed the playoffs 10 years in a row, the Buffalo Bills have had no problems selling tickets so far this season.

Former Bills receiver Terrell Owens said Tuesday, "It's almost like I didn't play last year."

Sporting News NASCAR writer Reid Spencer asks Bills rookie C.J. Spiller, who was recently the grand marshall at a Nationwide Series race at Daytona, five questions ... some even about football.

Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins receiver Brian Hartline may face the charge of leaving an accident scene on July 3. From the Miami Herald: "According to the official crash report, Florida Highway Patrol investigators still don't know who was driving the Ford registered to Hartline that hit a broken down Cadillac Escalade parked on the right shoulder of Interstate 595 around 4:37 a.m."

NFL.com's Michael Lombardi breaks down the AFC picture and has the Dolphins making a big jump. "Miami is close, very close, to becoming a Super Bowl team -- in part due to its size, mental toughness and ability to consistently execute each week," Lombardi writes.

Meet the man who had to tell George Steinbrenner he was quitting the New York Yankees to work for the Dolphins.

Former Dolphins quarterback Cleo Lemon is adjusting to life in the Canadian Football League.

New England Patriots

The Patriots' young receivers could add new dimensions to the offense, writes NESN.com's Jeff Howe.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft reflects on his memories of Steinbrenner. Kraft told the LA Times he received a note from Steinbrenner after the Patriots won their first Super Bowl. "It was the nicest letter, praising us for the turnaround and making the right personnel decisions, even when they weren’t the most popular decisions at the time."

New York Jets

Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is holding a passing camp for the team's receivers in California this week called "Jets West."

Bill Barnwell of Football Outsiders ranked Jets running back Shonn Greene the third best prospect in the NFL in his piece for ESPN Insider. He predicts a 1,000 yard season for the back.

A look at the difference between prices for New York Jets and Bills games.

In Lombardi's breakdown of the AFC, he lists the Jets as a playoff contender, but not a Super Bowl contender, comparing them to the University of Kentucky basketball team. "The question you must ask yourself about the Jets is the same one you ask about Kentucky when you fill out the office pool in March -- can they get past the Sweet 16? I never have Kentucky in my Final Four, so I cannot put the Jets there," Lombardi writes.

The highlights of the Patriots drive was a Tom Brady 10 yard run. The Bills drive play yards for a touchdown. The highlights of the drive was a 18 yard catch and run by Fred Jackson on a screen pass on a third and fifteen and ten yard run by Trent Edwards on a third and eight. The drive was capped off by a ten yard touchdown catch by Fred Jackson on a another screen pass. the Patriots scored on a touchdown on a 11 play 81 yard drive with a 18 yard touchdown to Ben Watson. The Bills Terrance McKelvin fumbled the next kickoff and it was recovered at the Bills 30 yard line by the Patriots. The Patriots scored on a Patriots 16 yard touchdown pass from Tom Brady to Ben Watson after the McKelvin turnover. The patriots finished with 441 total yards and bills finished with 276 yard. Finally, Bills choked away another football game on Monday Night Football. I would love to hear your comments on the game.

Buffalo Bills vs.New England Patriots Preview

The New England Patriots, defense will have a distinctly different look to begin Bill Belichick's 10th season in Foxborough, but the three time Super Bowl Champions will be happy to have a familiar face again at the helm of there defense. Tom Brady will back under the center to open the season Monday Night after he missed nearly all of the year due to injury, and he will be hoping to lead the Patriots to an NFL-record 12th straight win against a single opponent. That foe is the AFC East rival Buffalo Bills, who will feature newcomer Terrell Owens in a offense that still has plenty of questions to answer after it's was fired a week before the game. Backup Quarterback Matt Casssel played well in his absence as New England became the second team to miss the palyoffs after going 11-5. The Patriots will also, be curious to see what kind of defense they have after mainstays Mike Varbel, Rodney Harrison, Teddy Brushi and Richard Seymour all departed via trade or retirement. Seymour was surprisingly dealt to Oakland for a 2011 first round pick. The unit will take a much younger look, led by Jarod Mayo, the NFL top rookie of the year. New England also, seems to to have improved its secondary after adding Cornerbacks Leigh Bodden and Shawn Springs after drafting safety Patrick Chung with its first pick early in the second round. We have a lot of good leaders on our team and especially on the defensive side of the ball,"Belichick said."No doubt about it, it is different, but I think it is good. Whoever has played for the Patriots has been good enough the last 11 times they have faced Buffalo-and often by a wide margin. The average score during the streak is 29-9 and New England outscored the Bills 94-17 in the two wins the last time Brady faced the team in 2007. Buffalo added the flamboyant wide receiver Terrell Owens following it's third straight 7-9 season, but it's offense has hardly clicked. After Offensive Coordinator Turk Schonert installed a new no-huddle attack during the off season, the first team managed to three points in 15 preseason series, and Schnoert was fired on Sept. 4. "(Bills Coach Dick Jauron) wants a pop Warner offense, "Schonert said. "He limited me in formations and limited me in plays. Schnoert was replaced with former Bills quarterback Alex Van Pelt who is still expected to employ a no-huddle offense. This is going to be a little bit of a transition for us, "Owens said. We have to take accountability we have to go out there and jell with one another and go out there and play. Asked Wednesday if he liked playing without a huddle, Owens said, "No, not really I gotta deal with it. "Owens later posted a note on twitter insisting that he was "clearly joking". Trent Edwards will be the newest quarterback trying to get the ball to Owens. Edwards lead the Bills to a 4-0 start last season before they stumbled down the stretch, losing eight out of there last ten games. He will begin this season without his starting running back Marshawn Lynch was suspend for the first three games after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge. Dick Jauron has returned for his fourth season as Bills head coach even though his contract ran out last season, and he may be under pressure to show some early signs of progress. Finally, the Bills have lost 15 out of the last 16 games and I see no difference in this upcoming AFC East football game. The Patriots will defeat the Bills 34-17.

FRED TAYLOR VISITING THE BUFFALO BILLS

The Buffalo Bills are finally, sending a strong message to Marshawn Lynch that his "Crazy Ass Behavior" will not be tolerated anymore by Bills Management. Marshawn has not learned a lesson from his last two encounters with law. Marshawn has to be taught a valuable lesson before his career is over before he is 27 years old. The Bills could help salvage his career by cutting Marshawn from there roster and that will send a clear message to Marshawn Lynch that his type of behavior is unacceptable for a NFL Player. This message was sent to a "Future Hall Of Fame Member Cris Carter" who had similar problems with the law as member of Philadelphia Eagles and they cut him from there roster and that message help save his life and his Football career. The Buffalo Bills can go with Fred Jackson as starting Running Back and Fred Taylor as there backup. This will be a strong backfield and there will not be a large drop off in yard production. Fred Taylor will bring some much needed leadership to this football team and some confidence to Trent Edwards. The Buffalo Bills Management and Fans can no longer count on Marshawn Lynch as there starting Running Back anymore so, they might as well cut him loose or trade him for a high draft pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Finally, Fred Taylor will also, be visiting the New England Patriots and it seems like they are the leaders in the clubhouse when it comes to signing him to a new contract.

BUFFALO BILLS LOSE TO NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 13-0

The Buffalo Bills lose a close game a "Windy" Ralph Wilson Stadium to the New England Patriots 13-0. The Patriots had a strong running game from Sammy Morris and Lamont Jordan to pull out a close Football Game in windy conditions. The Patriots Quarterback Matt Cassell used the short passing game by throwing the Football to Kevin Faulk and Wes Welker. Cassell threw several screen passes to Kevin Faulk to help the Patriots move the football down the Football Field and create first downs. The short crossing patterns really helped the Patriots win this football game during the late third and early fourth quarter. The Patriots defense was solid even though they were missing Richard Seymour and Teddy Brushcui they contained Fred Jackson and that was the key to the Patriots winning this football games. Trent Edwards could not throw the football to Lee Evans ans Josh Reed because, of the bad wind conditions at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills defense played well but, gave up a couple of key drives that led to the Patriots victory. The Patriots found a way to win the most important football game of the year and the credit should go to "Coach Hoody" because, this is his best coaching job ever since, he took over the regins as the Head coach of the New England Patriots. Finally, the Bills lose again to the Patriots and this makes it 16 out o the last 17 games the Bills have lost to the Patriots. This is starting to feel like a "Right Of Passage" because, you know before the season starts the Bills have lost two games before the first snap of the season.

BUFFALO BILLS-NEW YORK JETS PREVIEW

The Buffalo Bills are on the way of losing nine out of their last ten games this season and go 0-6 in the AFC East. The Bills will be hard pressed to go into Giant Stadium and beat the New York Jets. The Jets are fighting for the AFC East and there playoff lives this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. The Jets are coming off two disappointing losses to the Denver Broncos and The San Fransisco 49ers. The Jets have to win this Football game to keep pace with the Miami Dolphins and the New England Patriots in the AFC East. The Buffalo Bills are the right medicine that the Jets need to break out of there two game losing streak.. The Bills offense is terrible and it will probably be lead by J.P.Losman and that means that this game is a guarantee win for the New York Jets. The Jets Offense has been struggling for the last two weeks but, I think that the Jets Offense will have a break out game this Sunday against the Bills because, I expect Brett Farve to have his best game of the season against a solid Bills Defense. The Bills Defense has only given up 26 points over the last two games and that should be enough for a "Real NFL Team" to win both Football games but, where talking about the Buffalo Bills. The Jets Defense will have there best game of the season against a terrible Bills Offense that can't score against a good College Football Team. Finally, The Bills have no chance of winning this football game this Sunday against the Jets. The Bills are bad football team right now and the only team worse than the Bills are the Detroit Lions. The Bills will lose to the Jets 31-13 in Giant Stadium. Hey! I would love to see a football game against the Buffao Bills and the Detriot Lions. The Lion will beat the Bills 21-17

BUFFALO BILLS QUARTERBACK TRENT EDWARDS STRUGGLES AGAINST PATRIOTS

The Buffalo Bills Starting Quarterback Trent Edwards is struggling throwing the football every since, he had the concussion against the Arizona Cardinals. Trent looked extremely good against the San Diego Chargers but, everybody looks good against the Chargers Defense. Trent Edwards problems seems to stem from the Bills not being able to run the football. If the Bills cannot run the Football that destroys the Bills Play action game. Therefore, in yesterday's game if you look at Matt Cassel performance he, was able to use the play action game against the Bills Defense because he, had a solid running game from Ellis who gained 105 yards on 26 carries. In the last three games there are still no excuses for Trent Edwards missing wide open receivers and not making the right audibles while, the football game is in progress. Turk Schonert Bills Offensive Coordinator needs to give Edwards a simple game plan where he, can be successful because I am starting to feel that Edwards is starting to lose his confidence. This weeks upcoming game against the Browns is the biggest game of the year and if the Bills don't win this game you might as well order your next year draft guide. Finally, I am tired of listening to Bills Organization make excuses why they lose to the Patriots twice a year. I want the Bills to kick the "New England Patriots Ass".

BUFFALO BILLS LOSE TO THE PATRIOTS 20-10

The Buffalo Bills lose to the Patriots again 20-10 and this makes it the last 15 out of 16 games the Bills have lost to the Patriots. I am a devoted Bills fan but, I have gotten so, use to losing to the Patriots twice a year and it has become a "Rites of Passage". The Bills coaching staff always gets out coached by "COACH HOODY" and his cheating ass staff.. Dick Jauron seems to be "Clueless" when it comes to making a successful game plan against the Patriots. The Bills made Matt Cassel look like a veteran Quarterback today and the Patriots running game was led by a third string Running Back Sammy Morris who ran through our Swiss cheese Defense. The Bills have lost three straight AFC East games in a row and they are now in last place in the AFC East with a 5-4 record and they are 0-3 in the division. The Bills Offensive Line was terrible today as usual and you see why they are ranked 30th in yards per-carry in the NFL. The Patriots Defensive Line dominated the line scrimmage and shut down the Bills running game. Trent Edwards had a tough game throwing the Football because, the Bills cannot run the "Damn Ball" which puts to much pressure on Trent Edwards Arm and through two interceptions in today's football game. The Bills need to fire the Offensive Line Coach at the end of the season because, you are wasting Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson talent behind this "Fat Ass" Offensive Line. The Bills need to come up with a Offensive game plan to get Lee Evans the ball more in the open field. Turk Schorent needs to move Lee Evans and Roscoe Parrish in motion so, the Defense will not know where they are going to line-up. The Bills Defense makes me sick because, they can't rush the passer and they can't stop the freakin run. The Patriots had a 19 play 9 min. and 2 sec. drive that put final nail in the Bills coffin. I know the Bills have injuries on Defense but, there are no excuses for losing three AFC East games in a row especially, Dolphins game when the Bills led by nine points late in the third quarter. The Bills are facing adversity right now but, they have not shown me the character needed to be a champion in this league. I am sick and tired of watching the Bills lay down like a bunch of "Punk Ass Dogs" to the New England Patriots twice a year. Therefore, the Bills will get another chance to rite the ship against Brady Quinn and the Cleveland Browns this coming Monday Night at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Finally, I opposed giving Dick Jauron a new contract before the season was over because, I wanted to see the whole season to play out and see if the Bills Could win the AFC East. Jauron is a nice guy and a players coach but, that is not going to win you the AFC East or a Super Bowl Title.

BUFFALO BILLS "CHARACTER"

The Buffalo Bills "Character" will be tested this Sunday when they meet the New England Patriots in Foxoboro, Masscheuttes. The Bills have some serious injury problems with some of there key players on offense and defense but, that should not be a excuse for the Bills to go up to New england an lay down like a "Bunch Of Dogs". The Bills have to take a stand against the Patriots even if Tom Brady is not the starting Quaterback in this football game. The Bills need to have a Running Game that is going to support Trent Edwards passing game through the whole game. This "Punk Ass" Offensive Line needs to start blowing some these teams off the ball and getting some yards for Marshawn Lynch. How dare Jason Peters ask for a raise the way he, has been playing every since, he had that failed holdout attempt this summer. The Bills will also, need a great coaching performance from Dick Jauron because, the Bills need too have great offensive and defensive game plan that will actually work against the Patriots and "Coach Hoddy". The Bills defense will have to get some turnovers to win the football game, because the Offense has had some serious prolems holding on to the football. The defense will have to make some big plays against Matt Cassel and the Patriots offense because, I cannot see the Bills offense getting more than two touchdowns. Finally, the Bills will have a tough time beating the Patriots this Sunday because, the Bills always lose to the Patriots.
