Buffalo Bills Hardy and Hawthorne Placed On PUP and Jon DiGiogio Waived Training Camp Day 1

The Buffalo Bills earlier today waived hard hitting linebacker Jon DiGiorgio who was set to enter his fourth year with the Bills because he, failed his training camp physical. The John DiGiorio move came as a bit of a surprise because he was a valued member of the Bills Special Teams and Linebacker Corps the last three season. DiGiorio surgically repaired knee has not responded as well as he would have hoped. DiGiorio suffered a torn ACL in week 6 against the San Diego Chargers last season. James Hardy and C.J. Hawthorne were put on the not ready to practice and were placed on the PUP. Being active on the PUP Hardy and Hawthorne can come off the PUP and re-join the team as soon they pass the team physical. Hardy is coming off ACL surgery and he expects to be back by the end of the preseason. Hawthorne had surgery on his foot and there is no expectation when he, will start participating in training camp anytime soon.

trombone shorty backatown megaupload trombone case with shoulder strap NickelI personally have never seen a trombone made out of nickel before I searched for it on the web, however I did know that they do produce nickel slides in order to brighten the tone of the instrument up a little. Nickel instruments are slightly less bright than silver ones, however this material is rarely used to make a whole trombone. B ill Watrous is by far, the most proficient bone player to come out of the "Jazz-Rock" scene of the 60's and 70's. The music was more aggressive and the playing styles followed suit. Harder playing meant giving up those fancy riffs and delicately controlled lip slurs in the upper register in favor of a different style of soloing. Then along came Bill Watrous. He became most visible during the 70's when he played with the New York jazz rock group "Ten Wheel Drive" and later, his own "Manhattan Wildlife Refuge". Waltrous was an aggressive player but he didn't sacrifice speed or agility. His range, control and mastery of the art of "doodle tonguing" are nothing short of amazing and make it possible for him to play more notes in one measure that most soloists play all night.
