Buffalo Bills Training Camp Day 7 Evans, Owens, Schobel and McGee Day Off

The Buffalo Bills have a extended training camp because they will participate in the Hall Of Fame game next week in Canton, Ohio so, Coach Dick Jauron decided to give his veterans players a day off. The veteran players who were given the day off are Lee Evans, Terrell Owens, Terrance McGee and Aaron Schobel. The reason for some of them They just needed a day off, "said Jauron. They worked awfully hard this week. Lee and Terrell run a lot of routes and we have been low at the receiver position and we got a couple of guys back for practice so we thought it would be good to give the a break. Aaron Schobel speaks for himself and Terrance McGee work so hard. We have got a good idea what these players can do. Outside of executing hand-offs in practice in practice Trent Edwards was another player who got the majority of practice off. Jauron said that his quarterback is ahead of his pitch count. Jauron said that Edwards up around 200 throws already and they only want him to throw between 450-600 passes through the course of training camp. Backup Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick got some extra snaps with the first team offensive line. It Was great, Ryan Fitzpatrick said of the extra practice time. Anytime you can get extra reps like me, certainly in a new offense and everything. I will take them. It is good to work with the number one Offensive Line unit just for communication and tempo. The highlights of the today's camp is that Ashton Youboty started in place of Terrance McGee with the first unit. I was surprised because I thought that Youboty might be on the chopping block when it came to the final cuts on the Bills 53 man roster. The two Offensive Line rookies got a majority of the reps with the first unit but Chambers and McKinney are still part of the rotation. This afternoon Fred Jackson caught a touchdown pass from Hamdan and Lynch had some quality yards rushing during practice. This was your typical training camp practice.
