Terrell Owens The Man And Football Player

We as football Fans know Terrell Owens by his outburst on the sidelines during Football Games and his controversial statements after games during the teams post game news conferences. Terrell Owens will go down as one of the greatest Wide Receivers in NFL History. Terrell is second in Touchdown catches with 139 touchdowns, 6th in receptions with 951 he, is currently tied with Andre Reed of the Buffalo Bills and 5th with 14,122 receiving yards. Terrell is still one of the games top game breakers and could open up the Bills Offense for Lee Evans. If you look at Terrell Owens First year with the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys he had tremendous year and did not cause any problems with the team chemistry. Maybe, that is why the Buffalo Bills only signed Terrell to a one year 6.5 million dollar contract. This will be Terrell Owens fourth team in his long Hall Of Fame career and it will be a fresh start when the Bills start training camp July 25. Terrell will be trying to rehabilitate his career and image so, he can get another contract extension for next year. Terrell will have to be on his best behavior because the media will be waiting for Terrell to make mistake so, they can pounce on the future Hall Of Fame Receiver. Terrell may destroy team chemistry in the lockeroom but, when you look at his career Terrell has been a outstanding citizen off the field. Terrell has never been in trouble with law and has been a supporter of many charities ever since, he became a NFL player. Therefore, with the Steve McNair, Micheal Vick and Donte Stallworth issues Terrell Owens should be considered a role model of the field. I wish Terrell would show that same character on the field that he shows off the field. Maybe, this will be the year that Terrell Owens will try and make that "Change". Finally, Bill Parcells once said that "YOU ARE WHAT YOUR RECORD SAYS YOU ARE" and if that statement is true we may have some TERRIBLE TIMES IN BUFFALO.
